Yeah, I'm not enough of a SAP to work with Accenture either

Probably. Around here, at least, the Autumn weather has turned decidedly chilly.

Well, Linus is the Linux God-Emperor, so who would be the Linux Colonel I wonder...
Don't know his name, but I think it's this guy:

@Zecc I recently learnt (but you probably already knew it by posting this) that the Cavendish banana was originally grown in the Cavendish estate (Chatsworth House). So it really is Cavendish's family banana, in a sense.
TI-also-L that "in mid-2019, Panama disease Tropical Race 4 (TR4), was discovered on banana farms in the coastal Caribbean region. With no fungicide effective against TR4, the Cavendish may meet the same fate as the Gros Michel."

Shocking pictures reveal tiny Hong Kong 'coffin homes'
Around 200,000 people in Hong Kong are estimated to live in close to 88,000 ultra-small 'coffin homes', which the UN has condemned as 'an insult to human dignity'. But residents have no choice.
@Tsaukpaetra either that or simply use an AC-unit which does not suffer do this.
AFAIR the company involved said ".. we've never done a serverroom-AC before.." or some shite in that direction. (in Jeremy Clarksons voice: 'How hard can it be?")
This one 'special' unit got replaced four times already, seems to be ..err.. stable now. knocks on wood
@Vixen said in Unboxing the One:
it seems here, based on the limited test data we have, that the oneboxes are disabled fro mobile links, possibly due to a difference in how the mobile site optimizes for cellular connections by stripping unnecessary things from the payload, which would certainly potentially include the metadata used to create oneboxen
Simpler theory: the regex used by the Youtube extension for NodeBB doesn't account for that initial m. in the URL.
But what would I know about that?

a) he hurts himself with the tools
This seems to be the big one, my current place does allow me to use their equipment at weekends. But no use of the lathes, mills, saws, belt sander without someone else there, which is entirely reasonable.
I asked permission first, and I've always just assumed that I should obviously use my own consumables and replace anything else I break PDQ.
As a benefit it's really been quite a good one for me. I simply don't have room at home for a pick-and-place machine or a full-size reflow oven (and I can't afford some of the rest anyway; BGA rework station with inspection ).
I've also, in turn, lent them equipment from my own stock, as I have some seriously esoteric tools for my hobbies.

I know I'm not.
@dkf Most texts use lowercase for the most part, and lowercase Greek is nothing like either of the two other European alphabets. This is the first time I see Greek text in all caps, with Latin transliteration.
I call fake / CG. Those "hands" can't do that, they're foam balls if memory serves... Still, pretty funny.
Edit: Oh, just saw the end of the video. Natch.

Something which I really like about JIRA: JQL. Being able to search for issues by writing a SQL-like query is something which I like, as I get it. I prefer JQL over the clumsy "Expression builder" interface given to you by Azure DevOps.
Seconded. I always fail to read the And / Or expressions with that expression builder whereas SQL / JQL just uses parentheses to group statements.

Apparently, it’s “24 Hours for the Lord” today. The diocese of Breda in the Netherlands published a handy schedule of what’s to do where and when for those who feel like taking part:
12.00-17.30 uur Oosterhout: Zusters Benedictinessen van de O.L. Vrouwe Abdij
17.30-21.00 uur Oudenbosch: Basiliek van de H.H. Agatha en Barbara
21.00-02.00 uur Hulst: Sint-Willibrordusbasiliek
02.00-07.00 uur Bergen op Zoom: Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-van-Lourdeskerk
07.00-12.00 uur Breda: H. Antoniuskathedraal
It began yesterday, 30 March at 12:00 o'clock, and of course, it ends at 12:00 today — a nice, round … 23 hours. Somebody didn’t take into account that daylight savings time started early this morning across the EU …
(I heard about this on the radio news this morning, and my first thought was: is it actually 24 hours, or did they screw up? Then the newsreader commented on the same thing.)
