@polygeekery How many toppings?

@zecc the class devoted to training future yearbook staff. A yearbook is a US thing where you have pictures of all the students/faculty each year along with retrospective text about teams, clubs, etc. Kinda pointless, but I needed an art credit.

Razer probably know what they're doing, but what does Nextbit bring to the table? A comprehensive example of everything you shouldn't do when making a mobile device?

@boomzilla
I guess that batch wasn't up to the company's usual QA standards.

Nice marketing move. "Hey, the FDA found our stuff works like Viagra! But we understand you may not need any help with the missus so you can return it for a full refund. Unless you'd like to sell it on eBay for five times what you paid for it, of course. And do spread the word! You don't want your friends to accidentally buy some Boner Brew they don't really need, do you?"

Recall: Coffee company recalls brew due to Viagra-like results
The problem is if you don't swallow the coffee fast enough, you'll get a stiff neck.

Before he knew it, the babies had mated with one another, and he had 160 little guinea pigs running around in his garden in Gosport, Hampshire.
Holy shit, that's a lot of incest.
Also, the gestation period for a guinea pig is about two months, and the female gets quite large int hat time. How did he not notice?
-
@benjamin-hall I remember when anything 65 or below was an F. Kids these days...

While KPFA emphatically supports serious free speech, we do not support abusive speech.
No true Scotsmen lurking everywhere.

@lolwhat there's a private school here that has set 85%to be an A...GPA is pretty meaningless. Some schools can get away with that because the college admissions staff know the school by reputation and adjust for the differences.
Not to mention that rigor varies wildly even if the curriculum is nominally the same.

Honestly, even if he was too ignorant to realize that his original female was pregnant, he really should've figured out what was afoot the first time a crop of little guinea pigs suddenly showed up...

Clearly he took the breeze approach.

33-year-old grandfather
Something tells me his side of the story doesn't stack up.
-
@raceprouk think about it, though, you can legally be a parent at 16, it's feasible to be a grandfather at ~33.
Also, the sort of person who has a large facial tattoo is possibly not going to win the next Award For Cleverest Person award.

It's technically possible, but then how was he hiding his underage activities?
-
@arantor And it's possible (although squicky) to be a parent earlier than that. Sadly happens quite a bit. I've heard of 9th graders (13-14) with kids. Ewww.

I'm pretty sure the bar was lowered to just over 12,but the risks are a bit higher.

@tsaukpaetra Good. It's about time we started refusing service to people on political grounds. That woman who wouldn't serve the cop at McDonald's should be heralded as a hero.

I don't say this often, but I wish more countries could follow China's good example.
-
-
@pjh That's blatant discrimination, which is illegal. I hope that 'Company' gets sued out of existence.

So, lets say you don't have religious problems with this, or mind having a Star of David surgically implanted into your body.
Is there any computerized hardware you'd trust to be implanted into your body? Would you be prepared to upgrade to the iEye 2s? What if Samsung made the batteries?

Pacemakers? Defibrillators?

RFID chips often don't need batteries.
-
@magus I'm curious as to what they'll do if those employees then leave the company. Will they mandate removal of the biochip?
-
@anotherusername If you need something for medical reasons, absolutely! But those have very careful standards.
