  • RE: The Impossible Mission: Group A Game Thread

Vanessa nods slowly as she studies him, her expression showing faint interest and a touch of relief- probably that her question didn't appear to offend. "I see. And yes, I had noticed the similarities but did not wish to assume... When I was younger and new to my role as Herald, I was meeting with merchants and assumed that one of them was a halfling due to her size and athletic nature. She was in fact a gnome and... displeased by my mistake," Vanessa explains with a self-deprecating chuckle. "There were four orcs with the merchant caravan we paid to-" She cuts off suddenly, her eyes widening noticeably with shock. Without a word, she bolts to her feet as she rushes towards the wagons.

A few seconds ago, back in the camp proper, Ashleigh was in the midst of checking over the two hunting dogs in preparation of heading out for the day when she happens to glance upwards to check for clouds or the like. Marzon, Biggen and Alanus catch an abrupt movement in their normal 'check one's surroundings' routine, zeroing in on the suddenly intently still Ashleigh. She's just kind of spacing out, but given that they're trying to observe weird behavior in the pilgrims that might be something to make note of happening. Before they can decide whether to mention it discretely to anyone else, the entire camp bursts into motion.

Not a word is shared among the pilgrims but they all start to get the wagons moving, not bothering to repack anything that isn't already in hand. At the campfire, Rowan and Deidre abandon breakfast and run towards the wagons without a word even as Herald Vanessa rushes towards the lead wagon herself. Distracted as they are by all this, Marzon and Biggen both glance towards where Ashleigh had been staring and notice a... robin? Or a, jackdaw, no, ummm, a cardinal? Some kind of red bird, pretty high up, he can barely see it but why would that cause... all of this? Getting closer/bigger kind of rapidly though... huh... really rapidly...

Seriously though, what in the hells is up with the pilgrims?

[ @Impossible-Mission-A I'm not sorry. Fast reactions only, we're not in rounds yet but time is being tracked]

Well your language is still wrong

My request caused an error to appear in my console where i wanted publicly available data. That means it's an error. Sure, the error is required by the design specification of CORS, but that does not mean it is not an error and so describing it as a CORS error is correct.

an error by design is still an error.

In fact i seem to recall you saying exactly that, or something to that effect anyway, some time ago when you were trying to do something with webapi2 and were having difficulty to it

Also thanks for copying all the bullshit email headers

I didn't want you to miss any important clue contained in my email to their support email.

    Good day,

I am working on a project that wants to retrieve a JSON formatted build art=

Unfortunately I am being blocked due to CORS errors when I make the XHR req=

Is it possible to retrieve build artifacts from appveyor automatically in =

I have prepared a simple jsfiddle that demonstrates the error on Google Chr=

I just so rarely get useful answers when I do that even with paid support contracts that I rarely bother with free services.

@RaceProUK That's not the point. And I think you know that, but I'll explain anyway: the point of questioning you is to understand what you're thinking.

@RaceProUK What have you contributed to this other than sniping at the rest of us for not speaking enough?

Let's look at your contribution to the discussion between discussion re-opening and making your nomination:

@RaceProUK said in Secret Hitler Mk. II - Game Thread:

    Interesting.

Also, it appears it's now my turn to select a chancellor for my strong and stable government. Of course, I shan't be rushing the decision: I'm sure there's plenty of discussion to happen first.

@RaceProUK said in Secret Hitler Mk. II - Game Thread:

If all the draws so far have been honest, the chances of FFF are pretty high, and it won't tell us anything. Then again, it's my opinion that someone has lied, and I think there's two Ls left. So, I'm going to nominate @wharrgarbl as my strong and stable covfefeChancellor.

    Paging Electoral Commissioner @JazzyJosh.

That's all. That's it. That's the insight you're offering us before your nomination. And to me, the latter post feels like a weak justification for a foregone conclusion. Everything else you've added to the discussion happened "too late", as you want us to believe you feel. And now that the discussion's going in a direction you don't like, you want us all to shut up and vote.

@RaceProUK So you wanted someone to tell you what to do, rather than to offer any insight yourself?

@RaceProUK You gave us absolutely nothing new to talk about with your first statement. It sounded like you wanted more feedback about what had just happened.

You then gave us something new to talk about: your nomination. Of course, it's already locked in, so there's not much point discussing anyway, but I find it a surprising and questionable move with a deck full of Fs.
