WTF Who puts a PGP block in a spam message?!
-
@Tsaukpaetra Not only that, but it's a public key, not even a signed message.

What do these messages and websites actually do? Do they just take your money and run, or do they actually sell stuff semi-legally?
And how do they even make money if Visa and Mastercard can just reverse all their transactions?
-
-
@RaceProUK
Well, at least the e-mail is nicely center aligned.

Heh, the top left item even manages to get it wrong by talking about Viarga.
Maybe spell check your spam before sending it out to billions of people?

Also, they actually talk about "Amazoon.com" in the text. Anti-spam-filter technique?

I think they're just trying to make it fairly obvious and authentic, but who knows? It's probably white listed at the corporate level.

Subject: Greeting from REDACTED-Microsoft

We're now expanding a new R&D center in China and invest lots of headcounts for Bing, Azure and Office 365, and need a strong manager/director and some passionate developers/PMs to help expanding the team. These openings are based in Beijing, Shanghai or Suzhou, China and we’ll provide relocation service/bonus if you’re willing to relocate.
If you or your friends are willing to explore more, could you help to share your resume or contact info so that I can call you for more details?

That's exactly what evil hackers would say!

@Jaloopa I have no clue why, but apparently a lot of North American systems don't understand international conventions. When I was in canada, neither 0049 nor +49 worked as country code for Germany, only just 49 worked. Except it kind of actually did work because it would actually ring through even though you got one of those "invalid connection" sound messages, so if the other side picks up you suddenly had TWO voices speaking to you. It was pretty infuriating to hear the person you want to speak to while a female robot voice yells at you for dialling an invalid number. And even though the connection was obviously, noticebly, established, the other side couldn't hear me. When I tried the same from an american phone, it just didn't work at all, though I am not sure if that is more or less.
-
@Quwertzuiopp An international number consists of an exit code and a country code. I think (at least in US) the exit code is not 00? Though I believe + was invented specifically to circumvent that problem...
-
@PleegWat The WTF is more that this works exactly the same in literally any place I have ever been to, be it in Europe, Namibia, Thailand, whatever, but in Canada it worked and not worked at the same time.

Yeah, you dial 011 to get out of the US. Other countries use some different things:

@RaceProUK maybe it's just me, but whenever I see the word "kindly" somewhere, I automatically assume it's spam/scam.

Like when a sign says "polite notice" the assumption is that it's not polite enough on its own to be recognised as such without explicitly pointing out how polite it is

I assume that it's emphasizing politeness because what comes after you ignore the polite message is going to be much less so. When you're able to speak and "reason" with your kid you'll do this a lot. Do you want me to get angry about this?

I love it. Fake pyramid scheme that obviously can't work (for anyone except the person who sent it, naturally), even as described:
- Never lose the address that you used to deposit , it's the only way to receive your revenues
Complete and utter nonsense, if you know anything at all about bitcoin. Only the destination address matters; if they're supposed to pay you anything back, they would need to make sure to remember your address. But obviously they don't care because that's not going to happen.
- Participants can double their revenues using the referral program , by forwarding this message to other blockchain's users ( The Maximum of invited users is 20 ) and getting 30% of their revenues.
Also complete and utter nonsense. The bitcoin address has no way of tracking who forwarded the email. The only way you could hope to get any money at all would be if you erased their wallet address and inserted your own, and tried to scam your friends into sending their money to you.

No, they give you back most of your money. And then a cut of your victims' money. Well, that's what they say they'll do.

Not sure if spam or...
Thanks? I guess? Can't wait to see you here? Did you have a question?
(This appears to be an actual legit email that made it into our legit Google Groups address. Wasn't sure where else to put it)

To make up for the lack of Spam, I give you my apparent offer for more SEO:
I'm damn sure my site is top ranked when searched for, let's check....
Yeah, that's rig--- Wait, what? WTF? Literally, Google doesn't consider "tsaukpaetra.com" to be the MOST likely thing you want when searching for "Tsaukpaetra"?
Well, where is my shitty site anyways?
...
WTH? It's not in any of the 11 pages of search results on Google...
Well.... Damn.
's OK, I'm findable just about everywhere else I guess...
Edit: Also, why is this post an associated image for me? And why is my RoosterTeeth profile pic not my pic?
