RE: WTF Bites
@jaloopa The last bullet point on the top sticker says "Plus, upgrade your PC to the fastest model on the market every 2 years for only $99!". You should take them up on that.

@bb36e I don't know what you're talking about. I, a software developer and programmer, have been using Linux on my desktop since 2003. Linux on the desktop is a success.
I like how you're holding an argument with yourself. Let us know who wins. :P

Sensible suggestions are to complaining.
This video perfectly sums up our community:
-
Absolutely no issues with moving posts whatsoever
At least, that is what I assume happened. Two amusing things:
- The last post in the thread with a timestamp before the OP
- The sorting of topics
[mod - anonymising
Lounge
stuff, simply out of principle; there was nothing particularly senstive, but it was flagged nonetheless - @PJH] -

ISPs are also fans of "starting at".
Not round here they're not. Otherwise they'd actually be held accountable for their advertising.
Where I live it is usually used with reference to the price and not the speed

@jaloopa I heard a similar joke once:
What do you call a midget psychic who escaped from prison?
A small Medium at large -
Tags
Not sure if it is technically a bug, but whatever, I'm bored.
So, I decided to click on the "Tags" link at the top (did I mention I am bored?). Scanning through the list, the tag "fantasy" caught my eye. 10 topics. I'm a fan of fantasy, so what type of topics could these be on a website like this? Click on it:
I assume it's a permissions thing. Shouldn't the number next to the tag name only account for the topics you can actually access?

RE: Stupid Quora Questions (but I repeat myself)

Yes

Male, South African. Thanks!
EDIT: Not even sure if it is already set like that, so this could be a no-op request for all I know

RE: WTDWTF gets murdered by aliens and it's all Ben Lubar's fault!
@anonymous234 Can't you read the title? I want to be murdered by aliens, not nerds. Unless you just let something slip you shouldn't have.

RE: WTDWTF gets murdered by aliens and it's all Ben Lubar's fault!
Watched the first video and have to say I'm disappointed. The title of the thread is completely misleading. Nobody got murdered.

@pie_flavor Not sure if you're joking, but in case you're not, the function returns either 1 or a 0. 1 meaning the parameter is a valid date and 0 means it is not.

I almost forgot to address this point, but you lost the game. I am what you could call an anti-vegan. My staple diet consists of meat, rice and potatoes. The only reason I eat vegetables is because my wife tells me to.

Yes, it could be Firefox, which doesn't know how to do square-roots anymore (wasted ~1h yesterday over that)
E_NO_REPRO. Out of curiosity, I just installed Firefox 54.0.1, 32 bit (en-US), on my machine (Windows 10, Build 15063.540) which never had any version of Firefox installed before. It works as expected.
