RGB LED EVERYTHING!!

I use Google.com forced to no country redirect and I am not logged in and I set my location as United States so maybe that's why it doesn't work for you and others?
I was in a fresh incognito window. Try again?
Edit: Navigating around back to the Google homepage, and trying by hand instead of by link, I literally have no idea how @levicki arrived at the screen he did.
I think I figured it out. If there aren't any matching events "nearby" (using whatever criteria Google decides to use for "nearby") then it doesn't bother showing you the Events lens. If you've forced the Events lens, then you get the blank result. If you were already in the Events lens and did the search you get this:
...which would be better than the blank result.
Edit: For reference, here's what I get from a basic search. There's no Events lens; eventually there's the Images lens, like you almost always get when nothing else is appropriate.

@Atazhaia So itโs like one of these.

@topspin said in RGB LED EVERYTHING!!:
We probably all tried this as a kid, but Iโm sure the lights in my fridge go off when you close the door.
Easy enough to test. There's usually a switch next to the light which is pressed down when the door is closed.
-
@PleegWat Yes, but how do you know the door presses the switch just right?
-
@PleegWat I hope you didnโt read my post to imply I donโt know that.

Get in the refrigierator and close the door

@Atazhaia Make sure you have RGB RAM.

But I can make the insides glow in pretty colors at least.
Can you make it glow black? That'd be neat.
Built a new computer a few days ago. Discovered that the new motherboard has annoying RGB LED shit that is bright enough to light up a darkened room quite a bit. And I don't even have a side window in the case. That's just the light leaking through the fan openings.
There is no setting to actually turn that shit off so I manually set the RGB colors to 0-0-0.
I guess you could say it's now glowing black.
-
@El_Heffe said in RGB LED EVERYTHING!!:
[...] I manually set the RGB colors to 0-0-0.
I guess you could say it's now glowing black.Better yet - set the colors to negative, so that one fan's glow starts absorbing the light from nearby ones!

Try this:
- Sign out of your Google account fully
Done by default by dint of what Incognito Mode is.
- Go to https://google.com/ncr
A mystery URL? Sure...
- Click Settings, disable logged out search history and set your location to United States
There's no such option "Logged out search history". But I smashed that United States radio button.
- Try the search again
Tell me again what the definition of insanity is?
On a side note, I just upgraded my PC and apart from now glowing mainboard and previously glowing RTX 2080 Ti I also had to purchase glowing RAM because they were out of plain boring RAM.
Pshaw, amatuer. You need to get RGB VRMs so you can show just how much power you're
wastingusing!

I wouldn't trust Google to actually respect that.
You don't have to trust. Evidence is enough to reproduce and verify.
@Tsaukpaetra said in RGB LED EVERYTHING!!:
A mystery URL? Sure...
There is no mistery to it -- /ncr stands for No Country Redirect and it tells Google you don't want to be redirected to your country's domain (for example google.co.uk from google.com).
Sweet! So instead of going to Google.com I'll instead go to... Google.com? What's the point?
@Tsaukpaetra said in RGB LED EVERYTHING!!:
There's no such option "Logged out search history"
Which leads to a page which says:
And below there is:
That all is a lot more than you said, and amounts to the same thing as "don't save the tracking cookies "
@Tsaukpaetra said in RGB LED EVERYTHING!!:
Tell me again what the definition of insanity is?
As for the results not showing it might be a consequence of Incognito mode and different handling of cookies?
Doubt it. Tomorrow though I'll pop into a VM and not use incognito mode, just for you!
@Tsaukpaetra said in RGB LED EVERYTHING!!:
Pshaw, amatuer. You need to get RGB VRMs so you can show just how much power you're using!
They are already glowing white-hot just from the power flowing through them, no need for LEDs there.

I had the same results as @Tsaukpaetra, for the same reason: there aren't any nearby.
I was able to get the Events lens by searching for "lan party in california" (without quotes). There's two!

@Tsaukpaetra Yes but my CPU can actually run code.

The Itanic was known for being quirky and expensive. And now no longer available.
Though @levicki is probably just talking about not being able to run his x86 code.
-
@Tsaukpaetra said in RGB LED EVERYTHING!!:
Doubt it. Tomorrow though I'll pop into a VM and not use incognito mode, just for you!
It's still tomorrow, so I smashed together a new VM and a fresh install of Chrome, not signed in, not in incognito, "paused signed-out search activity" whatever, and...
And just in case, let's try the original URL...
I think I've beaten this dead horse well enough. "Hmmm..." indeed.
-
@dkf One of the "unsinkable" features of the Itanic was that it had a hardware interpreter for x86 code, and later models embedded an entire x86 core to try to deal with the slowness of losing 1/3 of your execution slots. So yes, though slowly, it could run @levicki's x86 code.

I just realized that the RGB controls in my computer don't control the power LED Color color (as the software claims) but instead controls the logo on the side of it.

how well balanced are they? have they been tested to ensure that the design and manufacturing does not introduce any bias to the dice rolling? because unless that mass is carefully balanced and centred........ yeah.....
probably not though, because to verify that it would need hundreds of thousands to million of rolls to verify each iteration.....
