@boomzilla So they invented an inferior version of bologna? I don't get it...

I know that's a joke product, and yet I still feel like I'm pretty sure I've eaten bacon that was made out of it...

@antiquarian Read the fine print.
-
@hardwaregeek I did, and I still don't see anything different from bologna.
-
@anotherusername I'm pretty sure boned rolled pig was an early version of spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam....durn Vikings. Spam is probably more nutritious, I think they had to give up on the dirt filler.

This is an old one, but for those who haven't heard it before:
A guy goes skydiving and his chute doesn't open. He tries the reserve chute and it too doesn't open. As he's plummeting toward the earth and certain death, he spots a tiny speck coming up toward him. When the speck comes nearer, he sees that it's a another man rising up into the sky. Frantically he calls out to the other guy: "What do you know about parachutes?!"
The other guy shouts back as he passes: "Nothing! What do you know about gas stoves?!"
-
Before they were out of earshot they were passed by third guy who is going horizontally. "Cannons? Either of you know anything about circus cannons?"

Being shot out of a cannon into a net doesn't impress me. I want to see someone get shot out of a cannon and land in a smaller cannon.

The other guy shouts back as he passes: "Nothing! What do you know about gas stoves?!"A guy goes skydiving for the first time and is very nervous. The instructor tries to calm him down, but he's worried about the parachute failing.
"What do I do if the chute doesn't open?"
"How can it not open, I checked it myself, everything is going to be fine."
"Nevertheless, what if it fails?"
"Well, you have a reserve parachute, you just open that if the main one fails."The guy seems to calm down a bit, but then comes back:
"What if the reserve chute fails too?"
The instructor is fed up at this point and just says "Then once you are back down, go to the office and we'll refund you."The guy jumps out, tries to open the parachute, but it fails.
He attempts to open the reserve parachute, but it fails too.As he's falling down he thinks "So they duped me with the chutes. Now if the refund is also gonna be a lie, I'll sue them!"

I strongly disagree with that post. Don't stop Darwin from doing his work.

That's actually the most reasonable explanation I've seen so far.

@ben_lubar Ditch those absurd paper sizes already and accept the A4 overlord.

@doctorjones, indeed.
Now if it'd have been a push bike, he'd have been on the pavement, mowing down all the pedestrians..

@ben_lubar I hate modern comic books. "People think we're inferior and are all racist against us" (entire race is super-hot, have all of Superman's powers)
Cyborg's reply is pretty funny though.

I think you're not quite getting what this edited video is referencing. Maybe this bingo card will help:

@ben_lubar No I got that but the thing is I get pissed off when perfect fictional people try to do racism plots because it's so stupid, and since I'll never play that stupid Detroit game everybody's making fun of that's what I replied to.

All you need to know is that Detroit is what you're complaining about but about a thousand times worse.

@ben_lubar Oh I'm sure it is.
This is at least one thing the Marvel movies seem to get, at least the newer ones. None of their characters are moping around.

@ben_lubar TRWTF is Olive Garden 79%.
(For non-USians, Olive Garden is a chain of rather meh Italian restaurants.)
