@aliceif I mean, they're right: whoever has a slightly different resolution and a slightly darker hue to their image stands out a bit. Looks like Gain Knowledge?

Garfield minus Garfield. I'm still not sure if this guy is a genius or not.

@Jarry cats are basically just real-life imaginary friends.
I should know. My wife has two of them.
Even I have a hard time not falling into the trap of talking to them.

No . I was visiting my uncle once and the cat was sitting behind my head. I reached up and pet it briefly. The bastard decided that "briefly" was not sufficient and started biting and clawing my head.

Then again... With your current avatar, who can blame it?

I'm not sure how much that changes my statement, or whether it even changes it at all...
Were (are?) your imaginary friends all more the type?

I don't have imaginary friends, only two shoulder aliens, one and one .

@Onyx Yeah, those were awesome. I also miss Warsheep.

@Karla my brother had a topless Spice Girls calendar that was the same joke.

So I couldn't remember where I posted this joke and wanted to check so I searched and of course is broken so it goes to Google--
so anyways, Google's index for "pony butthole" is now that much more powerful and my personal search results will be weird for a while.

Something tells me that condition is neither new nor temporary.

Just noticed... apparently Firefox is perfectly happy to chop a title between surrogate pairs...

Maybe try upgrading to a proper browser-- one that worried more about functionality rather than rounded corners and wasted space.

Yay Unicode-unsafe substring!
-
@Tsaukpaetra this is the kind of mistake I'd expect a PHP dev to make on the basis that the string functions everyone uses for manipulation still think of strings as byte arrays and not sequences of characters.

So none of those products was a DEA honeypot for incredibly stupid addicts? I am disappoint.
"I got it for snuff tobacco" is more than enough plausible deniability. Hell, I would've found those spoon vials pretty useful back when I was still using it.

Just because it didn't chop it between surrogate pairs doesn't prove that it doesn't have the bug. From the wasted space at the end of that, I'm going to assume that it probably does have the bug.
So, open a few more tabs so that the tab width gets shorter, and see if you still can't reproduce the bug.

@anotherusername
Took a look at what https://what.thedailywtf.com/topic/15907/the-bad-jokes-topic/ does:- Chrome doesn't even add ellipses to truncated titles. It just lets the rest of the GUI cover them.
- Edge does this:
- Internet Explorer does it correctly
Wow.

@aliceif
STOP changing your post while I'm reading it!

That seems to be the max width of the tab for some raisin.
