Can't apparently turn them off globally, so stuck with ads
@Lorne-Kates Wouldn't it be faster to just put the sentence together from the individual words, scattered around the internet?
I'm sure someone can abuse OneBox to do that.
But I like watching vine compilations!
So you like watching videos of stolen footage-- that are themselves stolen and stitched together into one big stolen-footage video.
And then you reward those people with your views and ad dollars.
And you wonder why the system is the way it is.
"Secure email mode" site setting ensures that no content is leaked to the outside via emails when the site's content is sensitive.
Is there also a "don't break" checkbox, because I think that would be useful.
Related bug: "Added
nobug flag to compiler to allow site to compile without bugs."
Also... civilised whispers leaked in uncivilised digest since day one.
Well, you know, whispers are a brand new feature you can't possibly expect it to be bug free on day one maybe after a year of beta or so..........dotdotdot
leaked in uncivilised digest
You know what's extra fun about that? Anyone who was signed up for digest has a permanent archive of whispers that they can now mine at their leisure.
About the SD card thing, I'm not going to say either side is complete right-- but @accalia is completely right.
Fuck whatever penny-pinching shitwad invented the half-depth slot. They probably thought "hey if I eliminate the spring and use 5mm less plastic that's a whole saving of 0.05 cents (not 0.05 dollars) per unit. We're going to manufacture 10M of these. That's a saving of FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!!!
Now I have half of my tiny, thin, flimsy plastic chip sitting outside the laptop case. The laptop itself is several pounds of SOLID. The SD card is elevated. Effectively, it's now a nice lever to multiple any force applied to it. One wrong move by me, someone around me, my kid, my dog-- or just a stray book falling off a shelf-- and the SD card goes SNAP.
Fuck you hard, idiot designers, whoever you are.
@accalia Sony also did that with the PS2 IIRC, and the Genesis I know for a fact has a full Master System inside it (the Master's CPU is a Z80, which is the Genesis' sound co-processor, the Master's sound chip is in the Genesis, and the Genesis VDU is the same as the Master's, just with an extra video mode or two).
I am a serious Sega nerd.
That explains why there's that adapter that lets you plug master system games into the Genesis.
doesn't stop me from owning both a Genesis and a Master System, tho.
How Many Famous People Will Die IN 2017?
If you assume the answer is "all of them", that's probably the only way to end up happy at the end of the year.
Trump has the nuke launch codes now, so there's a non-zero chance your joke will not be a joke.
