I thought "gallon must" may have been some strange unit of measurement, I didn't think to look up "must" as a separate term. I haven't read much about fermentation/brewing before.
Prior to having kids, we would order grapes and make wine every year. A section of our basement is a small-scale winery and brewery.
One day I will dust it all off and go again. It is a really fun and relaxing hobby. Another benefit, there are no mistakes. There is only moonshine. ;)

Bastard! Beat me too it.

You would have to cut it in to small pieces and propel it down a metal tube with a propellant
Moose-antler blowguns? Sounds just crazy enough to not work.

Wrong. Two of the songs on the Spotify playlist I listen to in the car are Fountain of Wayne songs. Two.

Depends on the quality of the case. If it's style 1 or 2, you should be able to pry it apart, starting with the interior holder on the side with the hinges. I've forgotten how to open styles 3-6...

Status: Stupid Windows Update.
No Windows, it's not a good time. I'm using the laptop. You had your chance when I wasn't.I clicked Reschedule, natch.
19:35 today looks good?! I've just clicked the button to tell you not to restart at that time. Also you picked a bad time that I don't usually use my device considering I'm using it ALMOST EVERY DAY AT THIS TIME.
-

MAYBE YOU SHOULD'VE REBOOTED EARLIER, THEN.
AFAIK I've only ignored it once. Normally it just sorts itself out at some time like 3am when I'm asleep, same as my desktop does.out of time
Pfft. I delayed it again. Until a time that suits.
-
Pfft. I delayed it again. Until a time that suits.
Hm, I thought once you got to that point you could delay it, but only utntil the time it told you it was going to reboot automatically on you.
-
I'm upset because I blew off the restart for 2 days and now I'm out of time
I didn't exhale forcefully off the message intentionally! How am I supposed to react to a message that appears only on the console session?
I was literally in a remote desktop session (for reasons) for a few hours when all of the sudden I get disconnected without warning. Turns out the PC had forced the reboot (somehow not gracefully terminating the session, so the Remote Desktop shook it's silly little head and started "Trying to Reconnect (1 of 20)..." for five minutes) while I wondered if someone kicked a cable or something.
-
Well, at least at some point they seem to have rediscovered 'install updates and shutdown'.
-
Hm, I thought once you got to that point you could delay it, but only utntil the time it told you it was going to reboot automatically on you.
I've not noticed that yet. This time I had the chance to delay it up to like 5/6 days. I scheduled it for before then so won't be waiting to see if I still get the choice then.
It's Windows 10 Pro, I think that has more options for delaying updates.
-

There seems to be a "Shut up and leave me alone" button that causes it to quit bugging you to reboot, but then it reboots anyway at 3 AM when you simply locked your screen and left everything running at the end of the day so you'd remember what you were doing the next morning.
-
I'm fine with it rebooting at 3am. It normally does that on this laptop - even when it's asleep - and my desktop does the same.
If I really wanted it to leave me alone, rather than suggesting stupid times, I'd just stop the service.

Status: looking at implementing ACA electronic reporting, specifically the 1094 and 1095 forms. OMG. Before you can send the forms for real, you have to submit test data, consisting of (iirc) 5 scenarios with specific data the IRS provides, and pass a validation suite. Among other things, it does a character-by-character examination of the input, requiring an exact match.
- The submission will pass when it exactly matches the answer key for that submission based on a
character- by-character comparison. This includes leading, trailing, and embedded spaces;
punctuation; and capitalization (case sensitive). - If a date is 1/29/2015 on one test scenario and 01/29/2015 on another, submit each as shown on
the test scenario.
That last one, having not yet seen the test data, irritates the shit out of me on principle because my application sanely doesn't store leading zeroes on dates, which means that if a given field in the test data has leading zeroes in some instances and not in others, well, tar and feathers is would be appropriate.
- The submission will pass when it exactly matches the answer key for that submission based on a

Even more dumbassery: There are 8 (I think) scenarios provided. For software developers (as opposed to end companies that file) there are 6 applicable ones. There's two subsets of these forms, 1094-B and 1095-B, or 1094-C and 1095-C; a company will generally file either the B set or the C set, but not both. The IRS has decided that software devs supporting the B forms must complete scenarios 1, 2, and 6, and those supporting the C forms complete 3, 4, and 5. Only the government would've done that instead of 1,2,3 and 4,5,6.

Oh well, now I have a shiny new Intel HD Graphics driver?
Assuming that's the same one that went onto my Yoga2Pro, can you expect it to crash multiple times when playing Solitaire, Minesweeper, Mahjong, Sudoku, or Jigsaw. But on a good note, it recovers and only the game dies. Win10 continues quite happily.

Status: Started a fortress, dug out a 1-floor staircase, a trade depot, an empty room, a larger empty room for item storage (not pictured), and a room for storing food. Marked the empty room and the food storage room as a tavern. Suddenly, before I get a chance to dig out any workshops, food processing areas, or bedrooms, two bards (one human, one dwarf) and a hammerdwarf show up on the edge of my land and walk to the empty room I'm calling a tavern. The game named the tavern "The Prime Tummy".
