Can't say I have seen it before.
At one point Reddit did it better though, but now the effect is gone.

Knowing that they were actively hiding how bad sugar is for you moves it into "actually evil" territory.
But nothing in the advertisement is factually wrong, so I don't know why you think it's "'actually evil.'" People (especially kids) do need energy, which mostly does come from sugar.
And saying sugar itself is bad for you is also factually wrong, unless you're diabetic, and even then, it's still just a matter of scale: the problems come in when you get too much and, except for insulin issues, are caused by a resulting overabundance of bacteria and their by-products.
If you want something to gripe about, how about the lack of any mention of portion control in most dieting fads. That's the #1 biggest factor in excessive weight gain for nearly all obese people, except for a relative few who have genetic disorders. This ad is better than them, because it slightly mocks overindulgence in passing ("Unless you make a career out of drinking soft drinks, ...").
-
@djls45 Everything is "just a matter of scale". It's also a fact that certain types of sugars (yes, there's more than one which you kind of ignore here) are worse for you than others.
-
@Rhywden They pretty clearly seemed to be talking about sucrose.

Evil idea: Take a popular C-based language and have the only change be swapping symbols around. So
/ <-> \
and() <-> []
and= <-> ==
etc.int i() == new int(5): i(3) == 2: if[i(3) = 2] System,out,println['Hooray for confusing stuff!']: else \\do other stuff
-
@Atazhaia Even more evil: Do the swap only for even-numbered lines.

FTFY. There's hardly ever an excuse to not use brackets around single statement blocks.
Filed under: couldn't get <ins> to work inside a code block.

Why not require an EBCDIC source encoding while you're at it?
Trigraphs not optional.

A way to optimise this would be to use non-matching brackets for semantic reasons, such as making a terminating

be like a}
but with an implicitbreak;
before it.

At first glance, that looks like someone combined Ruby, Python, and Objective-C.

@mott555 which makes this the perfect thread for that.

On House of Cards there's a few scenes with jigsaw puzzle like that one, but for some reason there are no screenshots of it that I can find online.

A language that only uses the letters á à â ǎ ä.
-
@anonymous234
No å ā ą or æ?
-
@Luhmann I'll accept the first three, but æ just goes too far.
-
@anonymous234 having a language with exactly 8 symbols makes it trivially easy to translate between it and binary.

As opposed to four symbols, arranged in groups of three, which are converted to twenty symbols in the target language.

@da-Doctah the details/summary tags are used for that.

Re:
They missed an opportunity:
- Solicit old phones from some Indian troops, with the apps still active.
- Attach the massive quantity of phones to drones.
- "March" the drone-phones to the border.
- Chinese intelligence picks up an "invasion".
- Video the massive Chinese armed response. Also the subsequent confusion.
- Profit?

That is... actually a great idea. It's easy to spy on people through smartphones, but it's also easy to fake that information.
I don't doubt the various government agencies around the world have made software to simulate any number of Android devices doing whatever they want so they can mess with each other if necessary.
I can't imagine how a serious "WW2-level" conflict would be nowadays with all the computers everywhere. Everyone would have 50 rootkits on everyone else's devices until they just give up and go back to typewriters.

The serious armies of the world has separate systems and use paper, safes and similar for seriously sensitive information, because computers can't be made secure beyond doubt.

Google probably puts Google Maps on
google.com/maps
instead ofmaps.google.com
so that you have to give location access permission to the whole google.com domain.
