Not sure which is more surprising:
Google street view of Krasnoyarsk, Russia
A KFC in Krasnoyarsk, Russia
Google street view automatically blurs out the face of Colonel Sanders.

How do you know? It could be a picture of someone else…

Can't be that good then.
Unless the idea is that you pay for that stuff...

Where's the snow?
-
Where's the snow?
It was eaten by the bears that people ride to work...
-
@El_Heffe I'm not sure that the algo is "good" so much as it is "fuzzy". Go into Street View on a busy city street and it'll blur all kinds of things that aren't faces.
-
@FrostCat I've seen it blur a horse's face before.

That's just so them horses don't get no ideas about talkin'.
Because a horse is a horse, dammit! =_=/*
-
@El_Heffe It also blurred out two patches on the tree, one high and one low.
-
I've seen it blur out store signs and information signs.
If it is going to blur out useful information then what good is Street view?

Well, the blur thing is very good for Google, it avoids lawsuits. I'd make it overzealous as well, TBQH.

But just the businesses that haven't bought ads from Google.

So we know it works on Sarah Jessica Parker.

@Vaire it helps if you know that HEY (the exclamation) is a homophone with HAY (the animal feed)
also probably smart.

Horses can be delicious (as long as you try not to eat them all at once).
-
@Anonymouse As long as the horse doesn't have certain antibiotics in the body at the time of slaughter (which are unfortunately common in veterinary practice for non-food animals) then horse is great.
-
@dkf I hear they make for great horse d'œuvres

@Vaire I'm not feeling the necessary panic in that image. Needs more speed lines.

I was thinking more of dog and cat (for that authentic Pyongyang tang!) but not tortoise.
