Among them is a button labeled "DOWN".
I know someone has most certainly pointed it out, but... what does
UP
do?Probably for setting the time and similar. With only an "UP" button you probably can set the time only in one direction, i.e. increment by one with rollover at the end.

It's for setting the alarm points. When setting said points, the other dual-function button has its secondary function (i.e. instead of changing between Celsius and Fahrenheit it adjusts the number in the other direction)

It would be so much easier if it would just display it/he/she/×he 's preferred pronouns

@Zerosquare Ransomware gangs are not honest.
I'd never expected that. I am really surprised, too.

File System Navigator (fsn; pronounced "fusion")
Jaloopa's first rule of software: if you have to tell people how to pronounce or spell your software, you have failed at naming your software

@Jaloopa At least it isn't fusionr.io

I'm used to super unrealistic portrayal of hacking in video games. I'm used to super unrealistic portrayals of space travel. I'm used to super unrealistic ballistics and car physics. But this is the first time I see super unrealistic GARDENING.
https://youtu.be/A8ggXRE0l4E?t=93
This is, according to game developers, how you sow flowers. Even if you turn a blind eye on the technique - see this sand all around? They didn't even sweep it off to get to hard soil, they just dumped million seeds on top of it all so the wind can blow it out! Yes, you have a magical space soil converter there - but you must wait for it to actually convert the soil, and only then plant the seeds! I know nothing about gardening and even I can tell how much bullshit this is.

You already know what I'm going to post about. I'm sorry. It'll pass quick once I'm done with it (think I'm 2/3 in or something), but for now...
Here's more of Pathfinder WOTR... uh, interesting design choices:
https://pathfinderwrathoftherighteous.wiki.fextralife.com/Lower+City
IMPORTANT : Like Middle City and Upper City, DO NOT WASTE TIME waiting bridges to connect. You need to ROTATE the camera to a certain angle to move the bridge. (Alternatively, use dimensional door spell for fast travel or exploring rooftop.)

I think “C octothorpe” used to be a front page (INB4 the what?) meme for a couple of years.

Softimage was my go-to example of this. Before Azure came along anyway.

Another tip is, before telling people the name of your software make sure most of the popular TLDs are not bought up by a porn actress in Japan.

Yout need to stop doing this to yourself.
And what would you suggest I do with my free time if I didn't have excessively time-consuming vidya to lose myself in? Be a productive member of the modern society? Learn new skills? Exercise? Go out and meet other people ()?
No.

Apparently ESL_CSGO is 5th most profitable Twitch account. They're not even a streamer, they're just broadcasting esport tournaments. I'm kinda sad all this money went to a big corp and not small people. On the other hand, I watched them more than all other streamers combined.
I just checked their channel right now and they're broadcasting probably the funniest sounding matchup I've ever seen at pro level:
EXTREMUM vs. Extra Salt
(EXTREMUM won 16:5)

Is the full list somewhere?
I've never heard of anyone in the top 35 of the screenshot. Guess they don't play Mario content.

There was a website thrown up yesterday with the list, but it is down now. Hm.

This motherboard can fit an extra large TPM, must be extra good for Win 11!

I've heard of a handful, some of them only by name.
- CriticalRole, I've heard the name
- xQc, pretty well known streamer
- Riot Games I'm assuming is the actual company
- Kitboga does scam baiting and I'm surprised to see him in that top 35 list

Apparently ESL_CSGO is 5th most profitable Twitch account.
There was a 'fixed' version of the list which has them as 29th. Which is still pretty good going.

Only heard of them because they pop up on
/r/livestreamfail
sometimes when I'm browsing/r/all
.

@loopback0 Saw the same list on pastebin (which was slightly less annoying to quickly scroll through). From what I remember, top 10 gets you >= 1M/year, top 100 >= 500k/year, top 1000 >= 75k/year, top 10k >= 10k/year.
As others have pointed out elsewhere, this is what twitch pays out, so there's probably additional income from sponsors, youtube and so on (which I assume most of the top 1k would have).
Not sure what to make of those numbers.
Edit: Here: https://web.archive.org/web/20211006092233/https://pastebin.com/LjmaPNam (Same numbers, more scrollable.)
-
@cvi As I understand, most full-time video game streamers work 80+ hour weeks and make less than you or I do.
And those who make more than you or I do probably also mostly work 80+ hour weeks.

I assume so too. The people I’ve looked up ranged from a measly 30k to 800k (in two years), but if I remember correctly (don’t know when he said it or where I read it) the latter guy made ~5m a year with all YouTube and other stuff combined.
(Of course that could be wrong but my memory has saved it under “credible”)

Status: I was wondering why the shit the text in this email was so fucking small, so I decided to see the source and...
It's a goddamn Word document, but not only that, they intentionally set the font to 8.5 point!
I'm going to have... words.
-
@Tsaukpaetra And it's not black, so it won't print cleanly. And it's about pharmacy technicians. And in some areas the font is one specifically intended for Korean and only available on Windows, and in other's it's one only available on mac OS. And it's about pharmacy technicians. You will have a lot of words to have.
