IT announced they will be pushing a software "upgrade," with instructions regarding the notifications and dialogs one should expect during the process:
... click Yes, I trust the publisher.... In this case, the publisher is McAfee...AMCFG.EXE
You'd think IT would realize this is a BAD IDEA.
Even then, it shouldn't be that hard to make a GPO to add the McAfee root cert to the trusted stores and not have that question at all anyways...

@boomzilla Maybe don't get stupid, embarrassing tattoos. Also, I didn't RTFA, but I'm sure alcohol (or something stronger) must have been involved in the decision-making process.

How dare you hold women to such unreasonable standards of beauty? Women should not ever be held accountable for anything that happens while they are under the effects of alcohol.

It was a very bad joke from a "friend":
At age 17 Holly and a friend decided to ink each other with tattoo guns they had recently purchased.
No idea what this girl did to the friend to deserve such a tattoo, but then adolescents don't need much of a reason at all.
-
Clever name, I'll give them that.

My girlfriend watches that show and most stories start with "I was with friends in [insert party destination] we had a few drinks and decided to get a tattoo".

Always a bad idea. No matter what the tattoo is.

Of course they should. And so should men. Afterall, they chose to drink it. They knew what could happen. (The same standard should, of course, not apply if it wasn't by choice, if someone drugged their drink, etc. But as a general rule, yes they should.)

This is an even worse idea. The point of it being there is identification. It does not matter what your individual snowflakeness is; validity aside, it matters what your genitals look like.
I agree - with a slight ^modification^
If you look like a perfect woman, but happen to have a dick, then the 'M' designation doesn't help anyone. Classification should stay as it is at birth, unless you are trans and have been determined to be passing enough to not be confused for a cis member of your assigned sex, at which point they should allow you to change the listed gender to the opposite one. Anything else is ridiculous.
It should always be the sex assigned at birth. Laws and recommendations about serving alcoholic beverages are based on age and sex, in part because those (along with body size) determine how much someone can drink before becoming inebriated. Age, gender, height, and weight are verified by using official ID cards, which are usually driver's licenses.

Yeah, well, there's the issue of intersex children. It's not as easy as you wish it to be.

If the guy behind you does that, it probably means you're driving too slowly in the left lane. Speed up or move over and he'll stop. Usually.
I've been tailgated in any and every lane, and it doesn't matter how fast you're going; tailgating is dangerous and illegal. You are never under any obligation to speed up unless there's a minimum speed limit in place. (Which does happen in some jurisdictions.)
You may be risking a cop pulling you over to check on you and/or to ask you to speed things up a bit.

Driving in the left lane of the highway when you're not passing or making a left exit is also dangerous and illegal.
Not in general, only where specifically applicable, such as with a sign posted saying "keep right except to pass."
Sure, it sounds like a good idea in theory, but in practice, highways often enough tend to be full enough that trying to exclude an entire lane from normal travel operation is simply a pants-on-head retarded idea, and everyone on the road knows it.
Near cities, yes, sometimes. For most highway mileage, no, they don't usually get that full.
Exceptions: road construction work (which generally block at least one lane and have really slow speeds anyways), major holidays (only a few times a year), solar eclipses (very rare), apocalyptic events.

There's a toll road we take sometimes to jobs in northern Virginia that's less well upkept than the free highways we get on and off it at.

No alcohol or anything other than the stupidity of being 17. Having been 17 once, and having done things way worse than that (but which, fortunately, left no long lasting visible evidence) I would tend to cut her some slack on this one.
