The first law of free... if you're not paying, you're the product.
Did you think the same thing when they offered Win10 for free ?
-
@TimeBandit
Well, technically, I paid for my Windows 10 back when I purchased Windows 8 Retail for my previous computer. And anyone purchasing a new computer pays the "evil Windows Tax". So no, I didn't get Windows 10 for free.
-
@Jaloopa That's true, it is. The exact pressure level varies, but it always produces greater than atmospheric pressure, so it is indeed still a CPAP.

And how much have you paid for Linux?
(Assuming your time is worthless, since that's an assumption that's needed to decide Linux is free)

@Akko Does CPAP count? It's more of an acronym, really, though my own is technically a VPAP (variable pressure) instead...
Oh why the heck not? In fact, let's count everything! XD

Be quick about it, though. You want to be done at least half an hour before sunrise or you won't get to your coffin in time.
-
If you only wanted one answer, why tell me to select one or more?
-

I like the part where it explicitly says "choose two" and "what are two benefits".
-
Section 5:
Got screwed over by the question two posts above which told me to select one option and two options at the same time.
-
@Yamikuronue I'm not even sure the 'correct' answer makes sense for the question as asked.

Because they wanted you to also think about why each of the wrong answers was wrong.

Well since I'll count everything I could just calculate the amount of 1- to 10-letter "words" possible. CBA to do that now, because I'm packing up work right now. You do it ;)

They asked the same question twice, but with different answers.
-
@RaceProUK Oh, so they just fucked up the question text.

I'm still trying to come of with something that gives a derogatory acronym. "idiot" seems achievable, but I'd prefer something that starts with io{t,e,a}.

Assuming your time must be worthless since you are OK with your machine rebooting without your consent, your setting may be discarded every time there is a major update, any of your software may get uninstalled if MS decide it's not compatible with the current update, etc.

'twas okay, but it's Ghostbusters II to @cartman82's Ghostbusters. It's okay on its own, but it leaves you longing for more of the predecessor.

C# isn't an evolution of C or C++.
Sure it is. C spawned C++ which spawned Java which interbred back with C++ and a few other things to make C#.
/me actually reads the quoted bit
Oh, they mean Pokémon evolution.

Sistreem
I was going to make a joke about this (something about "c streams" and "cisterns"), but then I found this:
and, uh, wow, that's a lot of subtly different ways to write-to/read-from a byte stream.

It's one of those optional ORs.

I was going to say that's how they expected to get two answers to the question, but then I noticed that the first one already has two answers.

It's like asking my wife for her opinion on anything.
