Actually, a variation of this question is how I met my husband for the first time.

That's so romantic!
Filed under: I think? Someone help me out here, pretty sure this qualifies...

@Karla
…and that, kids, is how I met you father.*thousand-mile stares*

Yeah, that series would be much shorter and probably on HBO instead of network TV.

Not per se, but anything can be romantic if you can laugh about it together in retrospect.
-
@Tsaukpaetra LOL
It was just an excuse at the time. I think since you stay out of the threads you may have missed a little history.

I didn't even remember it when I saw Ben's post the first time. It was only this morning I realized.
-
@Karla Which thread, and which post id? I want to avoid reading too much in the garage. ;)

Yeah I have experienced a recent reduction in the available free time that I have. Unfortunately I have not experienced an increase in monetary gain due to the reduction of available free time. Oh well.
-
@asdf I'm not even sure which one and they are too long for me to search through it.
Give me a little bit and I will put together cliff notes.
-
I posted in the lounge thread.

@Tsaukpaetra
So, you got a Significant Other, then?
-
-
-
To paraphrase the pope, "Orbi sub Uzi".

@tufty said in Forum guidelines:
No image, presumable because the stuff in a details tag fails to onebox or some other knobBB disconsistency. However, this does indicate that the
<details>
tag, at least for the moment, appears to defang oneboxed porn.@PJH said in Forum guidelines:
Sticking it in a details tag stops the onebox from running (FF49.0, Chrome 52.numbers), and so doesn't load any images associated with it, whether the details are expanded or not.
More by luck than by design.

One of those oneboxes; the other does not. Guess which.
-
That's acceptably, even pleasingly, disconsistent.
With reference to my previous post, I can confirm that knobBB manages to mangle my manual defanging well enough that it would be a bad idea to try quoting it, unless you fancy a facefull of inflated scrota.
Yeah, I know, there's people who would pay for that. Let 'em eat dicksauce, I say.

@Tsaukpaetra What would an Insignificant Other be like?

Acquaintances-with-Benefits.

@Tsaukpaetra What would an Insignificant Other be like?
A mistress? A secondary wife, in a culture where having many wives is not unheard of? Inverse genders as desired.

@masonwheeler said in Forum guidelines:
@Tsaukpaetra What would an Insignificant Other be like?
"Hi I'm Pete, and this is my girlfriend Pam, and these are my sorta girlfriends Jane and Susan"

Sounds like a rather... interesting way to refer to your BDSM sub.

As the Markdown spec says:
The only restrictions are that block-level HTML elements — e.g.
<div>
,<table>
,<pre>
,<p>
, etc. — must be separated from surrounding content by blank lines, and the start and end tags of the block should not be indented with tabs or spaces. Markdown is smart enough not to add extra (unwanted)<p>
tags around HTML block-level tags.
