Yes, I know that's not technically a question.
It's a sentence with a question mark, so technically it's a question.
"I wonder if their clientele from the generation who can't read cursive see the script lettering as just a random squiggle." No question mark in that sentence. We must be referring to different sentences.
What's funny is that I actually paused before sending to consider whether I wanted to end that sentence with a question mark or not. Decided not, on the grounds that it wasn't grammatically a question.

Yeah, I've been discovering this as I'm making my little interface box.
It has rapidly evolved from the original sketch...

I used to think that the U.S. government had given substantial thought to various civil disasters, and had well thought out plans for these.

Do the words "temperature" and "temporary" have the same roots? They refer to physically very different things.
-
If Wiktionary is to be trusted, they both come from the latin word "tempus" .

The Delight of Turkish Steam sounds like an adult movie.
-
@Nagesh I'm sure it was originally a pun of turkish delight (it's a kind of candy / confection).

And not to be confused with the final item in Flash Bazbo's meal order:

The yesterday's drop in crude oil price down to negative $37/barrel was a great test for many price tracking websites. I wonder how many of them went down.
-
@Gąska Technically, they all went down, even the ones which kept working.

Someone else's Random Thought of the Day: The existance of sub sandwiches means that there has to be a Dom sandwich out there....
And a sand-switch...

@Tsaukpaetra If there's a subwoofer, there must also be a domwoofer

I wonder what the reaction of lip-reading deaf people is to mandatory public masking.
-
If they're mute as well, my bet is on ":...! ".
-
One of the key signs of a respectable person is that if they give you instructions in private, and you follow those instructions, and then those turn out to be wrong, they will not scold you in public without admitting what they told you in private.

Do the people who killed themselves injecting bleach count toward the coronavirus death count?

@da-Doctah if they've had coronavirus then yes.

Everyone's heard of capital crimes, right? Well, are there also Capitol crimes? And if there are, are there capital Capitol crimes, or Capitol capital crimes?

Also, compared to most of the critters that are able to deal with urban environments, humans live for many of their generations. We're not immortal but we have bloody long lives.

Should I invest in American markets now? I have a pile of cash in my bank account.

@Nagesh you're late for instant profits, but as a long-term investment - why not.
-
@Gąska the rupee is growing stronger with each passing day. I will give my money to this mutual fund.

-
@Nagesh if rupee is rising, don't invest. Wait until it starts falling.

My understanding is that it will fall when OIL PRICE start to go up again.
Actually time to invest is when rupee is strong. When it goes weak, we can divest and reap profits.@Gąska said in Random thought of the day:

@Nagesh If you expect the rupee to rise relative to the dollar, and you invest in a fund in dollars, you're betting that fund will rise even faster than the rupee will.
-
@Nagesh said in Random thought of the day:

The logic is that if it's rising, it hasn't reached maximum strength yet. When it starts falling, you'll know it's peaked and now is the time. The hard part is knowing when is the start, and when is too late. If you don't feel like gambling, investing now isn't a bad idea - you'll earn money, just not as much.

@anonymous234 Remember this: markets can stay crazy longer than you can stay solvent.

@dkf said in Random thought of the day:

Not surprising. Depending on temperature and humidity, water may evaporate rather quickly, and most organic solvents even faster.
-
@HardwareGeek What solvent you'd recommend for a rusted blockchain?

While I heartily recommend that, he specifically asked for a solvent. That is an effective solution, but not a solvent.
