Add a poutine, and you're in for a very strong punishment

Microsoft's solution?
Backup your data, buy a modern computer and make the jump to Windows 10

But it looked even more diabolical for the Brits - just four per cent of its population glugged a whopping 30 per cent of all its alcohol and they easily outpace Aussies and Americans.
"Clearly government has a responsibility to address the problem of cheap alcohol by fixing the way alcohol is taxed, introducing floor prices and halting the proliferation of harm-causing packaged alcohol sales," he said
clearly.
Fuck the four percent!

Backup your data, buy a modern computer and make the jump to Windows 10I don't blame them (except for the "buy a new computer" part).
I do blame them for taking steps back in Windows 10's UX.

Or you could mark your own tires all around, rendering the chalk marks useless without violating other people's properties.

The day you're fighting a tyrannical government and they try to give you a parking ticket for parking your truck full of rifles in front of the Capitol until you're waving your copy of Tyler vs. Saginaw in the officer's face is the day you'll thank this guy.

I've seen it once on one of my two active laptops.
Perhaps not surprisingly, the machine in the back room that's still running XP is unaffected.

“I told the jury central summoning bureau that I thought I would be inappropriate, seeing I happened to be the judge and knew all the papers.
“They wrote back to me. They picked up on the fact I was the judge but said ‘Your appeal for refusal has been rejected but you could apply to the resident judge’, but I told them, ‘I am the resident judge’. I had to phone them up and they [eventually] realised it was a mistake.”
He's going to appear in the court on the date requested. I don't see what the problem is. Surely that would satisfy the jury central summoning bureau's requirements?

Perhaps the resident judge could pen him a quick note to remind him that his presence will be required behind the bench, rather than in the jury box.

Let's put every language everywhere!
I vote for PHP in the browser
Astonishingly, one of the top results in Google for "client-side php" was a TDWTF article entitled, well, "Client-side PHP".
Apparently my "someone's bound to have tried to do that" thought process should've gone just a little further, to "and if they have, it's probably on TDWTF already".

Kinda.
It runs Linux, too, but it doesn't look like the default image has any browser that supports Javascript installed by default.

@brie Google tells me it's a proposed addition to the Chateau Laurier hotel in Ottawa, .
-
@HardwareGeek the rendering isn't realistic: they forgot the snow
-
@TimeBandit Then you wouldn't be able to see the building (which is a good thing, but it rather defeats the purpose of an architectural rendering).

It also folds more easily than an iPad Pro, and without the shower of glass shards.

That scenario merely moves the problem to one of seating arrangements...
-
@PJH Well, the only people who get to object to the seating arrangements are the lawyers, and only then if there's a good reason why he should recuse himself from the bench.

Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte has threatened "war” with Canada unless the nation takes back thousands of tons of trash shipped to Manila by a Canadian company
For once, don't blame Canada.
But blame the company that shipped the trash
The comment is the leader's latest to raise eyebrows internationally. In March, he referred to women as “bitches” and “crazy” at a woman’s empowerment event
This sounds like a strong will to die
