Fellow Conservative MP Michael Fabricant could also not believe the reported change.
He wrote on Twitter: "Call a dick a dick, I say!"
Hahaha, you're so funny Michael, but enough about Boris, what do you think about the whole "Spotted Richard" thing?

It's really Baal. The whole rebranding is an attempt to obtain more souls for their dark master.

It's kinda correct. If you want to lose weight, you need a lot of proteins and eggs have quite a bit.

@hungrier It's also the name of the most New Zealand movie.
-
@boner Hang on, to my knowledge, "Richard" is a short for "Richard the Third" in Cockney Rhyming Slang, making this (while admittedly more obfuscated) even worse! Unless I'm accidentally getting my facts from those Baroque books.

This probably belongs in the "Why is this news?" thread. DNA tests prove that a wolf-like creature was a wolf. And somehow this is news.

It's not from today, but then the eggs weren't too fresh either:

But what became of all those hundreds of chicks in the end?
“So many were hatched. Most chicks have been saved for now – although they may be eaten soon,” mayor Abazov said. “Many local people took the chicks home.”

@boomzilla said in In other news today...:
Apparently they turn down sex by going limp:
Dr Sergi Santos, the Spanish inventor of sexbot Samantha, claims he's working on a version of his AI doll that can enter 'dummy' mode in certain situations.
For instance, 'dummy' mode may be switched on if sensors under Samantha's skin detect that she is being touched in an aggressive or disrespectful way.
The robot will also enter into the unresponsive mode if she is bored with the attentions of her potential lover.
Just a thought: if you continue by that point, would it be AI rape or necrophilia?
Also, obligatory

Was going to comment that merely going limp isn't always a turn off in that situation, but decided to check for .

(This is all AIUI, so it may be incomplete or misinformed.)
The immigration laws allow for separating children from adults when one of three things applies:
- the children are being abused,
- the children are not actually related to the adults,
- the adults are being charged with crimes.
(Under which of those scenarios should the kids be left with the adults?)
Furthermore (again, AFAIK), the rule that the Left is blasting Trump for, even though it pre-dates his administration, puts a time limit on how long children can be held by ICE, so if the adults are still being processed, the kids have to be temporarily separated and "out-processed" to a different, non-ICE controlled facility until their parents are also released.
These laws were enacted by Congress and signed by a previous president (Bush in 2008?), not by executive fiat as per Obama's SOP; so Trump, as a good executive, is enforcing the laws as written by Congress. If Congress wants him to stop enforcing them, they'll have to change the laws. That's how our government is supposed to function. Nothing is working improperly.

I despise sites that redirect to ads. I'm convinced it's a malicious ad network/ad in a network. I'm all for banning Javascript from modifying
window.location
in any way. Use links for what they are designed for. If it breaks SPAs, so much the better.

I am as well but sites that contract with ad networks that allow active scripting are complicit IMO and they will not get my viewership.

The worst is on mobile where ad blockers don't work quite as well (from what I can find).

Meanwhile local government is backpedaling about plans to subsidise a grown up 'play' hotel. Renting rooms per hour doesn't fit the tourism bill. Also: Ostend? That's only a 30 minute drive. Or a 1 hour bike hike ... perfect cover for returning all sweaty
Also also: I wonder if the location is chosen because of the boats bringing in English tourists
