What. The. Fuck. Because we need a store download for a 6 Mb program. Here, I'll store it on the forums just in case you need it and don't have an MS account...
mspaint.exe
en-US\mspaint.exe.mui (Yes, I'm assuming you're using the English US language pack. No, I'm not going to upload any others)

Quoting http://www.girlscouts.org/en/our-program/our-program/whats-new.html :
We’re always evaluating—and enhancing—what girls do, how girls connect, and how girls grow as Girl Scouts. We listen to what girls, parents, and volunteers tell us about what they like most, and we take action to keep our program relevant and engaging. This year, we added new Journeys and badges in STEM and the outdoors!
Computer Science: Think Like a Programmer. Girls learn how programmers solve problems as they (girls) participate in interactive computational-thinking activities and complete a Take Action project.
Engineering | Robotics: Girls design their own robots after learning how they’re built and programmed. “Unplugged” activities allow girls to earn badges without buying kits.
Engineering | Mechanical Engineering: Girls complete hands-on engineering activities, such as building and testing rollercoasters, race cars, and gliders.

This one time, my grandfather was working in England on a job, and his coworkers were having some language trouble. For example, when talking about the times when things needed to be done, they would say "shed-jool" and he would say "sked-jool". Finally one of his coworkers got fed up and snapped at him.
"It's shed-jool, man! Shed-jool! It's S-C-H! Can't you read?!?"The correct response should have been, "You know what I'm talking about, so stop being a pedantic fuck."

This is more often the case with country-specific flavours. For example, one of my standard buys when I'm on vacation in France or Belgium is peppermint-flavoured lemonade, which isn't sold here.

I don't see it being much more than a sticking plaster. P-hacking will still happen whatever significance level it's set at.
What we need is better science reporting so that a study where the researchers tried 20 different analyses before hitting the one in 20 that passed isn't reported as absolute fact that overturns established knowledge

The problem is much deeper than science reporting. This garbage shouldn't be published. It's enabling and encouraging bad research.

@boomzilla publish or perish is a big old clusterfuck. In theory, peer review should sort the wheat from the chaff, but it's always possible to find someone willing to review it and a journal that will publish it.
Even when studies are held up in peer review, they often release press releases that get quoted almost verbatim

And speaking of reporting, this happens far too many times:

"SALT WILL GIVE YOU CANCER AND YOU WILL DIE"

That would be somewhat lethal. The LD50 for sodium chloride is roughly 12 grams per kilogram of bodyweight (i.e. 1.2%)

They just upgraded to Win10.
While in flight, it decided to reboot to apply more updates.

Yes. My numbers were totally made up in this case. I've seen things reported as carcinogens without noting that the required doses were absurdly large (as in "thousands of times the usual dose" and "enough that no one would voluntarily consume it").
-
@benjamin-hall Artificial sweeteners were one of those IIRC. The equivalent dose to cause cancer in humans at the same rate as rats would have involved drinking something like half a tanker of Pepsi Max a day
-
@jaloopa I think those are the ones that I had in mind. They feed the rats pure sucralose (or whatever) in doses way above normal and without considering that drinking soda (especially with caffeine) had a diuretic effect so the kidneys are filtering out a lot of that crap. They still only saw a small effect.

Yeah, uh, that wasn't so much an accident. She reportedly said that she was not wearing underwear right before she did the cartwheel.
They might've thought that "GK"'s testimony wouldn't hold up in court, or wouldn't be enough, leaving them with no way to prove that she did it with intent... it doesn't sound like they had much other than that, and the video, which a student apparently began recording on their cellphone after Sponsler mentioned not wearing underwear.
