Homeopathic internet
You take an ordinary ethernet cable, wire several teraohm resistors to each cable in series until the current is so small it's literally impossible to measure, even in theory, and then because of electron memory vigorously waves hands and that's how you'll get speeds of 100Gbps through it.
So that'll be $50 for a single magic cable, or only $129 for a set of three, sir.
(I kinda want to make this an actual kickstarter project now)

@cartman82's throttling class would also be helpful if we inject it into the Ethernet stack. Something like allowing a single frame per century ought to be reasonably homeopathic.

I thought they might care a bit more about being seen as allowing obvious scams, even just to avoid getting a reputation that might scare off potential customers.
I guess they do have money riding on ignoring anything but the most obvious 'our plan for stage 2 is to run to a desert island with your money' ones though.

Scam failed? Simplest solution is to remove the company, site and delete all accounts it used. Then design a new logo and name and start again.

They did not take any money (kickstarter cancelled) nor made any agreements, just posted some advertisements on the internet. Just remove the content posted and accounts and poof the whole thing never existed.
Legally deregistering the company is not even needed.If they wanted to make another scam, now everyone will be watching them with suspicion - a much better strategy would be to start the new scam under a new name.
So I have no idea what they could be trying to achieve now.

Good question. Eventually I watched the video that you linked (as opposed to just watching the page). It seriously comes off as something produced by The Onion to me. But I don't know what a less computer savvy person would think.
It's all very slick. Maybe I just want it to all be a joke.

That one is the new one.
Basically, they changed the video on the Kickstarter page and that propagated into the onebox.
