Just went to Thanksgiving lunch with the family. My brother was there, with his adorable little 2-year-old girl.
Because it's never too early to get kids into cool stuff, I showed her Lindsey Stirling's latest video. At the beginning, when Lindsey's dancing around in a full-length hooded green dress, she pointed and giggled. "It's Little Green Riding Hood!"
Awww, it's almost cute how stupid kids are.

This thread needs to be kept bumped regularly with appropriate posts. I'll take care of it this time, but the rest of you should really step up.

No, not dead. Just too lazy to get up to its legs and wings. Hot afternoon near a sunny meadow. Just duly perform your siesta.

In the afternoon around 5 pm, a bee sat down on a leaf of a Campanula flower. She cleaned herself carefully, and then fell asleep.
The next morning, she was still asleep. Around 11 am, she moved her antennae a little, and decided that it's not yet time to get up. Half an hour later, she moved also her legs, cleaned herself a little, and flew away.
Later in the evening around 5, she was here again.
I really like her: 18 hours of sleep per day, and only 6 hours of ... what actually? Fly around, drink honey, enjoy the day, ...

Uh no that seems to make a mess too ...
-
@Luhmann and too large a sand pit might be mistaken by one (or more) of the neighbours' cats as a toilet.

Factory teabags though. Not the higher-quality loose tea.
-
@PleegWat I can introduce her to the good stuff, no worries.
-
@PleegWat to be honest. i prefer loose leaf.
but it's rather hard to draw a mug of tea with the steeper still in and have people know what it is. so in the name of people not misidentifying which variety of hot brown i prefer i went with a teabag for the arts.
-
@accalia Some teabags are more acceptable than others, according to my tea-drinking relatives.
-
@dkf very true. i have some teabags that i enjoy when i'm in a hurry, but if i have the time to do a proper brew nothing beats looseleaf <3
-
@accalia I've got a box of teabags which I can fill myself when I need them.
