@zecc I got the free one on GOG, then checked GOG Connect and it turns out I had both on Steam already. Now I have both on my GOG account also.
-
@zecc If you have an XBox, pretty sure both Syberias were on Games With Gold a few months back.

Thanks for that. I also had the second game on Steam but never on GOG.

Killer is Dead - Nightmare Edition is available for free on Humble Store (activates on Steam) until 6PM (UTC) on November 18th:
-
@chaostheeternal Is there a Killer is Dead - Decent Mouth Animation Edition?
Cool graphics though.
-
@chaostheeternal That looks a lot like the weird art style of No More Heroes-- is it by the same studio I assume? EDIT: yeah I checked the wiki, it's "inspired by" but not a sequel apparently.
Anyway thanks for the tip, I grabbed a copy.
-
BrĂźtal Legend free for ~1 day 9 hours 30 min time of posting.
Edit to add: as a Steam key, not directly downloadable from HumBun.
-
MDK available for free from GOG.com until 2PM (UTC) on November 23rd:
-
Sanctum 2 is free for another day and change on Humble. I don't know anything about it but I'm guessing it's better than a fork in the eye.

Even E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial was better than a fork in the eye

Quite a few things are, I gather.
-
free for a day
-
@homobalkanus Just grabbed it.
What a huge flop that game was. They can't even hock it for a few bucks/90% off anymore, they can only use it as click bait to promote other games. Sad.
-
@cartman82 ah, so I do remember correctly that it got bad reviews. I think I'll still try it after I go through my current run of Enemy Within
-
I considered buying it at the time. Glad to see I dodged a bullet there.
I grabbed it anyway, because... why wouldn't I?
Off topic: I'm glad to see someone implemented a game idea I had:
the members of the elite Battle Chef Brigade are revered for their ability to skillfully take down monsters and transform their kills into delicious cuisine!
-
@homobalkanus I just did this and found out my Steam account already has it(?) Whatever.
Here's a key for XCOM Declassified: RNVLJ-F6V0J-DYDZN

Wait, what's so bad about The Bureau? I actually enjoyed it.
-
@hungrier Its fine. I havent done most of the hard content, because it involves defending multiple paths, so you need multiple people.
-
Homefront free for 2 days

In case you can stomach installing Uplay, Assassin's Creed IV is free until the 18th.

From the game's own description (under Read More):
From the comments:
Oh, hold on for a sec- THERE ARE NO GRANNIES IN THIS GAME?! DON'T BUY! DON'T BUY!!! 0/10!!!
(yet they gave ď ď ď ďď)
But, also from the comments:
Ehh...
It's free!
I have no comment of my own to make as I haven't played it (yet)
-
@zecc TDR 2000 is to Carmageddon series what Postal III is to Postal series (or what Visual J++ was to Java). It's a dud made by a different team without the secret sauce that made the series good, just for name recognition.
If you're into Carmageddon, you'll enjoy the classic C2 or the modern Max Damage way more than this.

Free for the next day or so

The new pair of underwear you'll need after playing it isn't free, though.

Everyone shut the fuck up! Death Road to Canada is on Android now, and IT'S ON THE LATEST MOBILE HUMBLE BUNDLE!
fffffffffffffffffffff
-
@lorne-kates I was more interested in getting a bunch of GTAs and Max Paynes and LA Noir for less than 15 bucks, but okay.
-
Free at the moment
-
Dead Space is the current free game on Origin. (I haven't played it but already had it from something or the other.)

Free for a while
-
@coldandtired That's the game that stole the art style and marketing from the Dungeon Keeper series but, weirdly, actually plays like Theme Park Tycoon.
Biggest bait-and-switch game ever.
-
@blakeyrat I haven't played any of those games :( Still, I added it to the collection in case civilisation as we know it ends and high social status is awarded to those with large amounts of games.

I've heard it's shit, but it costs nothing but a few clicks.

F1 2015 for free

@timebandit thanks!

Free for the next 46 hours
-
@timebandit Not to mention that the two ongoing Humble Bundles have at least one great game in each of them.
-
@timebandit Good game. People should play this.
-
@timebandit I wonder what the hell happened with business model of Spec Ops The Line.
This is a critically acclaimed AAA game, yet I regularly see it being sold for a few bucks, next to failed indies and shovelware student projects. And now, they are giving it away for free.
Strange.

It was released in June 2012, maybe they made enough money after all those years.
Also, it's still priced at ~$30 on steam
