Since I cut right-handed...I can't freakin cut a straight line.
Me neither. And I'm right handed. My grandfather was left handed but forced to write right handed in elementary school. His penmanship was awful. Mine is terrible, too, but I have no excuse like him.
In fact, in high school I took a drafting class as an elective. That's where I learned that I'm incapable of drawing a straight line even using a straight edge.

So how come it's OK to libelously accuse someone of abiding by the law?

I'm left-handed, but I do a number of things — scissors, frisbee — right-handed, because that's how I learned.
This reminds me of Phil Mickelson, who is right handed but learned to play golf left handed by mirroring his dad, who played right handed.

Baseball...though since I play so in-frequently, I have to ask someone which way a lefty bats because I am better lefty but righty doesn't feel wrong.
If you have to ask someone, you can just switch hit. Bat lefty against right-handed pitchers and vice versa.

Ahhh, like how I play judo might try it next time. I can't remember ever batting against a lefty though.
One time...they had me pitch (it was softball technically), good thing we didn't count balls (that's what she said).

@accalia even when you were a child learning to write? Because we're about the same age and my primary school had a BBC micro and a Win3.1 box
I've had some form of computer at school since the fifth grade. Got approval signatures and everything from in teachers every year. Yes in handwriting is that bad.
Funny fact: nobody made fun of me for having a twenty pound backpack.

Neither did I. It looks amazingly awkward
It is, but it's the obvious way to avoid a smudged mess when you're given a fountain pen and expected to get on with it.
For most of my school career I had a permanent ink stain on my palm
I find the opposite. I write with a fountain pen by choice, and I always had smudges and ink stained hands when I used to write like that. Now I write with my hand straight but the paper sideways: it's much more comfortable and much cleaner.

I think this was 5th grade and in our class there were 1/3 of us who were lefty. The number of ways lefties write is funny.
Another lefty was giving me directions, take a left and a left...I took a right and a right...and that was correct.

Yes, all the free crowbars you could ever want--- EXCEPT THEY'RE ALL RIGHT-HANDED CROWBARS MWHAHAHAHAHAH!
Please do...but be careful...you don't want to catch anything.
Yeah, you might accidentally catch left-handedness, and that'd be horrid.

Generally orthodox here, but apparently I count notes left-handed only(!) and taught myself over six months to play pool left handed (avoids the usual contortions usually used to play awkward shots that are otherwise easy off-handed.) Ambidextrous as far as mouse usage is concerned.

Aww man that is so true. When I started my diet cheese was totally the hardest thing to get rid of. What's good in a sandwich? On crackers? Melted on something? Comes in squeezy form that can be put on biscuits. Fuck yeah!

This is exactly why I switch...I refuse to use the sissy stick and feel too awkward to put the stick behind me.
-
Being ambidextrous does have its perks. No awkward pool shots, in baseball/softball I bat whichever direction keeps the sun out of my eyes, in tennis I just quickly switch hands rather than backhand, in ping-pong and tennis I load-balance between my hands to keep my arms from getting tired, and in IDPA "weak"-handed strings don't kill my scores like they do for others.
It's great with tools too, especially drills and nailguns.
(Not that I'm any good at most of the above, but it doesn't really matter which handedness I use in them.)

The only rests I've come across in the pubs I've played in are cross rakes, and I've found them personally to be worse than useless; I've yet to find/notice any with swans or spiders which I think would provide more utility - at least on 7' tables

@FrostCat each post in this forum is a required restart if you're online at that time. They give 10 minutes notice and usually there's quite a while that you can keep playing on the old version.

Yes, typically two hours. The last time, I think I'd been idling or just not reading the chat (or more likely the supposed warning message didn't actually appear ( @mott555)) until I literally got down to the 1-minute warning.
