@Applied-Mediocrity it may be a natural pond with in-rivers and out-rivers.

From Reddit, most likely based on an idea from Far Side

I guess I'm oldI guess I'm young.
Or more likely old but completely ignorant of whatever this action figure is supposed to be.It's what used to hold action figures together.
Rubber band hips are something modern kids will not have to deal with.

@djls45 Sega needs to get back in and show all the other losers how it's done.
Compare:
PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3, ... - functional but boring
(Super) Nintendo Entertainment System, Game Boy (Color, Advance), Virtual Boy, N64, GameCube, DS, 3DS, Wii, Wii U, Switch - all over the place, some good names, some garbage nonsense
XBox, Xbox 360, XBox One (S/X), Xbox Series S/X - consistent XBox theme, but the rest of it makes no sense
Sega Master System, Genesis/Megadrive, Game Gear, Saturn, Dreamcast - just cool names, no BS

A: Hey, what's your family tree look like?
B: Oh, it's more of a shrub.
A: Why's that?
B: Well, it makes a great big circle and it all comes back to... me!
A: ???
B: I'm my own grandpa!

Or more likely old but completely ignorant of whatever this action figure is supposed to be.At an (educated) guess, it's a kit for making your own action figure.
The screws provide for hinges, and the rubber O-rings can be used to provide a centering force for limbs.
Then you just carve a body out of some firewood with your pocket knife.
Or a repair kit for GI Joes...

People are so used to Nintendo making up a brand new name every time that when they released Wii U, people didn't even realize there's a new console on the market.

My car does that. When the battery voltage is low — which it is pretty frequently, since I don't drive it enough to keep it charged, due to pandemic
If your battery is more than 2 years old, it's probably time to replace it, and you're just not used to it because you charged it more before the pandemic

I drove my last car for 11 years with the original battery.
As far as I know someone is probably still driving it with the same battery now because it didn't start showing any sign of trouble when I sold it.
