@Karla The Falcon is the best!
No idea why they posted an unedited picture of Nick Fury though. I couldn't spot the difference.

[The driver] saw the spider on him and panicked as he came around a bend in the road.
“I meant to hit the brake but instead I accidentally hit the accelerator,” he said.It might not be very funny per se, but reading it reminded me about @flabdablet.

I am sure. Mine aren't.

I make a somewhat K looking thing and then just a wavy line.
That's my signature also.
Because all I'm thinking in my head is "Lorrwhatevre Kayyyyysomethnig". {scribble}

Yeah, I started with "Kayyysomething Mmmmsomething" and it slowly reduced to "Kscribble". Because like Madonna and Prince, I identify more with my first name.

Judging from my signature I identify as a scribble.

Oddly enough, I deliberately cured my own spider phobia to prevent pretty much this exact scenario.

I don't think the spider is worth much worry. No more than this lady:
They get around 2-2½ inches, and the only thing that bothers me about them is when one of them falls on me in the middle of the night.

When your only form of attack is biting and chewing.
And your enemies only form of defense is tasting bad.
This is the battle that ensues.

@bb36e I'm assuming the graph was produced on 12 December so the tiny entry on that day is merely because it's an incomplete day's worth of vulnerabilities, rather than the impossible happened and SO had massively better code that day.
-
@Arantor we're only a few days into december
-
@bb36e oh, I assumed it was vulnerabilities per day, rather than per month, didn't look at the graph up close :P but yeah, we're only 4 days into December, and there's already, what, 100 vulnerable examples?
-
@Arantor said in The Official Funny Stuff Thread™:

Even they aren't quite that bad.
-
@dkf uh huh. Having seen the shit on SO for PHP, I'm amazed it is only that many per month.

Damn it, I need to find this version now, mine seems inadequate by comparison :(

Ergh, the WORST. The poor man's half-arsed exception handling. How about using a language for grown-ups instead of that rubbish?

@anotherusername Silly thing is it's pretty clear that that site wasn't actually written using PHP. Fun correlation though. ;)

School finals?
-
@dcon might be something to that... 4/2012, 4/2013, 4/2014, and 4/2015 appear to at least be local maximums. 4/2016 is only slightly higher than 3/2016 which is a local maximum.
However there's definitely a large spike in 2014 that isn't explained by that pattern.

Warble Gloaming, clearly. Just don't look at the rest of the graph...

Soon is such a relative term...

@Tsaukpaetra Yeah, one day you're minding your own business, then before you know it, there's living mannequins, your place of employment blows up. Before you know it, you're on a space station in the year 5,000,000,000, watching the Sun consume the Earth.

@anotherusername The best part about that is the Police Academy paperwork in the background. Hope the sender didn't include any PII …

Careers in theatre and film can be unpredictable. For example, before he did Rocky 3, Mr. T did some things that had people telling him he'd never get another good part.
But then he stormed out of the barber shop and went to their competitor across the street, and that was where he met Stallone. 🙂

@ScholRLEA I'm not sure how accurate it is, but I'm a big fan of the story behind Rocky
