I'm beginning to believe that nobody ever pays full price for anything in the Daz3D store, ever.
Next stops: Renderosity and Steam...

I'm using it for game assets along with their indie license, but yes, you can do that, too.

It's interesting you chose the word "blame". IE's the only browser that actually implemented the ability.

Plus, the price is right. I bought it open box for $7. It is listed on Amazon for $179. Picked up some other stuff also. OXO burr grinder, Cuisinart espresso machine, bunch of other stuff. All for pennies on the dollar.
Okay, $7 is hard to argue with.
Burr Grinder: yes. Absolutely needed.
Cuisinart: is it this one?
http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/cuisinart-espresso-maker-0430599p.html
If so, same one I have. Suggestions:
- Get a 1lb tamper that fits the portafilters. It's 51mm, so it's a bit tricky to find one. I've bought this one: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00PRS18HY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
- Be careful with the steam spout. It's metal, but the swivel connector inside the machine is plastic for some dumb fucking reason. When you clean it, hold it with one hand and clean with the other, to keep the pressure off the heated connector, or it may snap. I'm sure you can open it up at some point and replace the connector with a metal one.
- Keep an eye on the drip tray. It fills faster than you think. No real concern, except for overflowing.
- If you like big lattes, fuck the tiny jar it gives you. a 17oz jar will froth enough for a double espresso. BIG LATTEE OR GTFO. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0039P15N4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

No, they came up with the idea of a genericized scripting engine that can use any language that plugs into it. The JS interpreter in IE is the same one used by WSH. Netscape wouldn't have been able to do something like that because their interpreter was wholly entangled into the browser.

So? Block him. He won't even know unless he visits your profile page. And even then, just say "I dunno twitter fucked up somehow their UI is shit" and go on a Blakeyrant at him. He'll eventually just give up.

Setting boundaries with your adult parents isn't being a jackass.
Expecting you to drag your sick ass across town to do free labor on your time off, while you also have a sick cat to attend to-- that's being a jackass.
If it was anyone else, would it be acceptable for them to demand you come over, while sick, to do free labor?
Would it be acceptable for them to demand someone other than you (like, a stranger, or some friend of the family) to drop everything and rush over to help them at a moment's notice.
"Sorry, I can't come over, I'm sick as hell."

Status: struggling to make the Android GMail app work with Exchange. It sends and receives e-mail just fine, but it seems like whenever the phone loses connectivity for even a split second, GMail decides it's vitally important to tell me it couldn't sign in - with a notification which has the same priority as, well, actual e-mails, meaning it rings, vibrates and interrupts whatever I'm doing.
It doesn't sign me out, it's still able to receive and send, I could completely ignore this notification except for the fact that I can't because it shoves it into my face.
Has anyone been able to figure that out? All Google results seem to be for people who actually can't sign in.

This is a JetBrains IDE. They do tend to be a bit too optimistic at what auto-refactoring can they offer safely.

No, it would have been better if it was. Axis1 was notable for some very βinterestingβ design decisions, such as keeping the whole document in a
String
with DOM elements just specifying ranges of that string, so that anyone doing DOM manipulation would get the very worst of string buffer reallocation strategies. I don't remember the other ways in which it was stunningly bust, but that was the one which meant that the project I was working on just said βfuck itβ and switched to a different stack. Status: I'm updating a moderately complex build of some software to Java 8 β it's a mavenized build and it does quite a lot of code generation at both compile time and build time, so it's definitely not trivial β and I've just had the good fun of having to work around a seemingly-minor configuration change in the Java 8 tools themselves. Essentially, a flag was added to disable access to external schemas when parsing XML, which would have been fine except that it turns out that that was how one of the plugins I had been using worked. Yay. Everything detonates because someone was a smartass.
Fortunately, there were some suggested fixes online. The
SunOracle suggested fix was to change some settings in a fairly obscure configuration file inside the JVM installation package.Another suggestion which would have been nice was a way of specifying extra arguments to the code generator, which would allow the incantation to be given to set the system property used by the generator. That worked, except it didn't because it didn't set system properties (it turns out that the code generator in question is a single-process one, even if this isn't documented anywhere); any request to do that would actually be silently ignored. Still at least this one was a nice try, based on a sane deployment theory that just happens to not work in reality.
But it turns out that there's actually a maven plugin for setting system properties, and that runs early enough and in a correct context for making this work. My build is now running again. (And failing elsewhere, but that's another storyβ¦)

STATUS Someone filled in their time sheet incorrectly
You've filled out your time sheet wrong. You've filled in Tuesday to Saturday for the last three weeks.
So I Saturday and took Monday off for a while. Chalk it up to a failed experiment.
But then we have to pay you over time for Saturdays. The system won't allow us any other way.
Then pay me over time. It will improve my morale!
But that will decrease our morale!
