That's the thing that gets me, Keurigs are like 3 times more expensive BOTH in initial cost AND per-cup.
Because it's a more complex process than throwing [grounds/a k cup] into a machine, blindly hitting a button, and waiting a bit for your caffeine infusion to bring you back to the world of the living.
What does that have to do with it being not an option?
Look, you said gibberish nonsense. Just fess up to it. It's clear there was no rational thoughts in your brain at the time you typed it, stop confirming it via "hoping we're too stupid to forget what you typed" and just admit to being an idiot. Save us all a bit of time.
-

Complexity adds difficulty. Difficulty is a to waking up.

Complexity adds difficulty.
What complexity? I'm guessing you've never made a latte before, and I'm starting to think that you think "latte" is some brand of East German car.

I, uh, am pretty sure that's how espresso machines work? At least the one I have at work, you just need to fill the water tank and pour the beans in once every few mugs.
Unless you mean those machines with a filter handle, which are a bit annoying, but still manageable.
-
I'm guessing you've never made a latte before
No, I haven't, because it is considerably more complex than just making a regular cup of coffee.
-
espresso
Espresso != latte
Do espresso machines have an automagic latte button, too? As I said before, I don't know anyone who has one, so I honestly don't know.
-
That would be a waste of perfectly good pork shoulder.
Where's the dip?

Yeah, you need to froth some milk too. The horrors!
And my work's coffee machine actually handles that too with a single button press, but it's some ridiculously fancy model, so.
-
Yeah, you need to froth some milk too. The horrors!
Precisely. Foxes in pre-coffee states handling open containers of boiling liquid do tend to be horrific:

Is every second clothing store one that also does coffee?
I know M&S does both, so it wouldn't surprise me.

You should check with your cow-orkers first, just to make sure you don't get the same one as any of them.

There's probably an on button for the milk foamer. It's really not complicated.

Do VPN connections not show in the list you get when you click the Network icon in theSystem TrayNotification Area?

Do VPN connections not show in the list you get when you click the Network icon in the System TrayNotification Area?
Yes, but then it opens that stupid metro app, instead of letting me connect from that screen. It is several more clicks than the old way to do it.

I'm guessing there's a reason you're not saving the credentials

:Wtf: They are passed to gcc as libraries to link against?
-
If I was not at work, hearing that on this website would prompt me to link you all a clip from a show I watched at one point, where a certain song was sung...
I believe it was called Subete wa S ka M, which consisted of a guy in a mask pointing at things and saying which one they are. Like floors: "You'd think it would be M, since it likes to be stepped on, but it is in fact cold and shocks you! S!"
Admittedly that was an ^ rather than an & though.
-
I'm guessing there's a reason you're not saving the credentials
Credentials are saved.
-
:Wtf: They are passed to gcc as libraries to link against?
-_-ew
It's a REST API I'm calling
-
Of course. But the REST api gets the json and passes it to gcc to create a binary, and then calls the binary to do something. Then it greps the stdout of the binary, marshals it to json and returns it back. Very efficient, and elegant
rest | gcc | rest
I just debugged the error for you. Fix gcc.

Link the Network Adapters control panel? IIRC VPN connections are listed there too, right? (Or, not anymore? My knowledge comes from Windows XP )
-
Network and Sharing Center, and yes, they're still listed there

Nope, your post still sucked.
But note how awesome MY "one-name" post is-- with a picture just like social media. And a link to give me money.
-
I don't think I said anything about either boning or a cartoon. The text of that post does not mention cartoons.
You were implying you wanted to watch a woman shower, and hoped that @alicef's appearance matched her avatar-- and her avatar is a cartoon.
-
the DMs move about slipping people pieces of paper to tell them information. You'd get a packet on your way in explaining who you are and what your powers do, et cetera.
Fuck that lotech shit. Everyone who comes in gets an earpiece and a radio receiver. Or a smartphone or some dumb shit. DM can whisper directly to a player anything she wants-- or broadcast to a subset of players. Use the smartphones (or earpiece + mic) to comm back to DM.

Status: Some recruiter seems to think that I am the perfect person to keep phoning up and asking whether I have positions he can help fill. Joke's on you, Mr Recruiter! Not only do I not have such positions — and even if I did, we've got official processes for filling them which phoning me is not part of at all — but even if we did, phoning me up just pisses me off and makes me inclined to be rude.
Next time, maybe I should just pretend to be someone else.
Keep slowly bating the recruiter. See if you can work them from:
"Let me check"
"Yes we do"
"Position for (extremely highly paid position, so recruiter will get a massive finder's fee)"
"Send me info about your firm"
"Send me more info"
"Send me different info"
"Send me your contact info"
"Send me your details"
"Send me your nudies"

Only in Seattle would making your own latte be considered an option.
The stupid shit you say never stops astounding me.
I have a espresso / latte machine. It was under $100. I can make a latte for a fraction of the cost of going out for one. It has 10% of the sugar of a store-bought one. I don't have to put on pants.
-
status ever since we got rid of here at work, I've been picking up the small bits and pieces of work that would normally fall to his position. Plus, since our QA lady is overbooked, I've been doing a ton of smaller dumbshit QA. I just now realized it's after 12pm. Doing all this work is seriously impacting my ability to get a solid morning of goofing off done before lunch break.

That sounds like a bad thing.
Not if you're trying to reduce your sugar intake. And double so if you're using non-shit coffee that doesn't have to be sugared to fuck to make it drinkable.
-
Go to network and sharing center -> Set up a new connection or network. ;)
-
Oh, you mean to connect to the vpn? Hmm...
-
Run >
ncpa.cpl
?
-
Mine's the best. Not only now, but also when it was blank.
-
ncpa.cpl
That is still a longer way to get there than what we had. Before I would click on the Network Icon in the taskbar, click on the VPN connection that I wanted to start, then click Connect.
Now I click the network icon, it shows me the name of the VPN connection, when I click that it opens a stupid Metrosexual app, then I select the VPN connection again and click connect, then close the stupid Metrosexual app.
That is annoying, and they had to change it to make it more steps. If they change something and simplify it, or have a good reason to, that is A-OK with me. For this change, it is worse than what we had before.
Filed under: Written from my Mac, where I have an icon for VPN connections that connects me with two clicks.

You may as well go buy a lottery ticket. Your chances would be better.
That would be a waste of perfectly good pork shoulder.
I was thinking the same thing at first, but realized there's irony value in beating a politician with the thing he voted to tax.

Status: All this talk about espresso machines makes me wish tea was this easy. Sure, I just need to heat water and soak a thing in it then add milk and sugar later, but that's quite different from loading a thing and some water into a machine and having a cup of tea come out exactly right.
I totally get why Keurig sells, but clearly there are ways coffee people can be happy for cheaper.
I'm not some Teavana-dwelling tea hipster or anything, I normally just have some normal tea made with oil of toxic oranges like I'm British or something, or green or occasionally jasmine.
Maybe this belongs in FWP, but I'm a programmer! We hate effort! (Except apparently gits who use git)

Um, no. I was stating (not implying) that I was only interested in watching someone with a female (implied: human) persona shower if the anatomy matched the persona. The avatar is irrelevant except insofar as it helps indicate who made a post. (Certain people routinely break that indication.)

I did not need to know this part. Now I have to live with the mental image of a gray, faceless man making a latte while pantsless. Thanks. May your steamed milk spatter.

i don't have an expresso machine, and sometime i make latte. it's not even difficult.
are you really that lazy @fox?
