status Iâm at a music festival. When did it become socially acceptable to wear anime tshirts in public?
Considering some of the other stuff that's considered "acceptable" at music festivals... I'd not complain too much about anime tshirts.
At least with old school music festivals, there was a chance of a baby boom 9 months later. Anime tshirts are kinda the opposite of that.

No need for contraception if you stop the conception

Yeah, âantisocial social clubâ t-shirts. Fucking amateur hour. I was pleased with tops that show off under boob though. A trend that I hope takes off.

@DogsB all of your beef with music festivals is t-shirt-based?

@loopback0 too drunk to notice the smell, maybe?

I thought I would keep it light. I like to bottle up my anger and let it all out in inappropriate drunken rants.

I believe the shipper has a warehouse in TX, so it's still theoretically possible, but given that it is now mid-afternoon on Friday, 9 June, it seems unlikely.
It is now 00:31 Monday, 12 June. Status is unchanged; still estimating delivery 10 June. Did somebody invent a time machine?

Yes, but it is broken. It only sends things forward in time, and by an uncertain amount. It's mainly used for shipping goods to you.

Well, your body temperature seems to be healthy.

Don't worry, you only need to wait 5 years.
In 2028, June 10 is on a Saturday.

My time machine kicks in after a naggin and leaves me confused and occasionally feeling shameful.
status took my boots off at long last. My feet have swelled and are very sore. If I didnât need caffeine and have an urge to get away from the person I spent the weekend with I wouldnt leave the house for the rest of the week.

In 2028, June 10 is on a Saturday.I think thereâs a fifth Tuesday in February that year. I have a lot of favours coming due then.

As of 08:30 Monday, the status has been updated! I'm not sure it's an improvement, though. Status has changed from "preparing for shipping" to "order is in process", which seems to me like a step backwards. Delivery is still predicted for 10 June.

It is reasonable to assume that your eBike will run out of battery within the half hour at the typical usage rate.
My watch is expected to last.... significantly longer than that.

Could be that they know that their battery charge estimation sucks, and that 35% sometimes means 10% (or whatever) in real life.

IME it's fairly accurate. They just haven't learned my usage habits (and do not try) and so the default of "The display is always on, and you're using it to text back and forth constantly" is what's used.

Mine alerts at a lower percentage, but it's also one of those that's just a fitness tracker and not a "smart" watch.

I don't remember exactly when mine alerts ( and all), but I know it's always higher than I expect. Mine's the one for swimming which just has 5 LEDs on it.

There is no character on either side, this is the problem.

It's the length of a body, as opposed to a head?
For comparison I overlaid the existing one on top, which has the blue cover on it.

Oh. I thought the new pillow was the blue thing, so it didn't make sense to me.

iBuyPower
I really shouldn't have expected any better regarding the RMAs.
So, the FedEx label did arrive as the support person said, and the system was shipped back the same day. It went from a receiving center on June 5 to delivered on June 8.
Since then, nothing from iBuyPower. Last time, they did email me to say they received my PC for RMA, but this time, nothing. Their site, though, shows that it is in status "RMA Issued", but has two statuses on June 9 saying "received system only" and then "Motherboard PCIE is damaged causing the system to no screen. Need to order new motherboard." Nothing since, though.
Quality of the RMA process leaves much to be desired at this point. It'd be nice to have been notified that they received it (especially because in both cases, the delivery says it happened in "La Puente CA" despite the address being "City of Industry CA", and I am aware they are almost overlapping), but at least this time I might actually be getting details about what is wrong and when it is actually fixed and going through testing for return shipping (unlike last time where I got notified they received it, and then again when it was shipping back).
Oh, and the RMA for the extra motherboard GPU clip? It shipped, after they had done a return label for the whole PC, and I should be seeing it tomorrow apparently.

Status: FedEx has some real special people. Three mailboxes at the end of my yard, one for me and one for the duplex across the street. The address numbers aren't particularly close, like 123-125-126 but 120-130-140. So FedEx mook walks past the mailboxes and up to my door, with a big 140 right there and leaves a box for 120.
In other news, Jackal for the NES is harder than I remembered.

Progress. Sort of. It's not good progress, but at least it's more realistic.
