In your case though, I do believe that it is all relatively non-point if it shits itself. Rebuild it all and use Veeam next time. I believe they have a free version that would keep your ESXi server backed up adequately for your needs.
I've used Trilead before, but the free version only allows unscheduled ad-hoc backups, and I'm lazy. Guess I need to get less lazy.

That will not stop me from interviewing with a fruit company tomorrow, do not want more disappointment by allowing myself to have high hopes.

Good luck. What will you have to concede to make the deal work?
-
Thanks! We were doing negotiations for a month, at this point the ball is in their court, it is done if/when we get some numbers.
-
Still pretty early. Hopefully you can work out something mutually beneficial without having to give up an arm, both legs and your first-born. A lot of people would sense the blood in the water and get concessions on everything possible.
-
My only guess is that you've read seven threads which exist outside of the discospacetime continuum.
-
Specifically it would be against the terms of watching your own ads.
But ... you wouldn't watch your own ads, but other peoples' ads?

Status: Had to come into work anyway. Now my brain keeps thinking it's a Saturday, probably because I already planned not to be here today.
Stupid brain.

A fruit company or The Fruit Company<apple>?

Maybe my RAID controller just crapped itself, or the ESXi kernel went all Discoursey?
Or, one or both of the drives are failing but still benchmark just fine. Perhaps a combination of any of those reasons. I would not trust any of it until I found at least one cause.
This. HDDGuardian is good for viewing all the SMART data and doing extended offline tests. I had a WD Red that had a datarate in the low megabytes and offline uncorrectable errors but it hadn't flipped the SMART fail flag yet. The disk controller status screen was showing a healthy drive but it was anything but.

A fruit company or The Fruit Company?
@mott555 is going to hire him as an applesauce consultant.

Good job, Steam!

Status: Well, this is new. It seems like Discourse has a cron job that makes it shit itself at ~9am EST every day.
-
At least it was not for 1h+ this time.
-
It's not 10am EST yet. Give it time. I have faith that it could easily shit itself for an hour starting anytime in the next 26 minutes.
-
~9am EST every day.
= ~6am Jeff Time, so nobody will be using a Discourse implementation then!
-
A fruit company or The Fruit Company?
I just realized my oversight, and nearly passed up a good opportunity to call you a homophobe.
Homophobe. :-P
-
-
They're their, one day you can be a homophone.
Edit: Goddamn auto-correct
-
It's a feature, like the Microsoft Windows Server Time Based Trial that shuts itself off after an hour of run-time once you go past 180 days. And won't automatically pick up a local KMS server, because it's a different install SKU even though it's the same functionality as Enterprise, so you have to do several specific command line operations to flush out the key and "reinstall" the key management subsystem within Windows.
-
-
Well, it makes more sense now that I took out the auto-correct from my phone. ;)

I was about to bitch that fully completing that badge required buying an Android or iOS device, but then I noticed you only need 28 of 29 to complete it. So that's optional.
I am still going to bitch because the two things it says I haven't done (view a stream-- Ben L can confirm I've done this several times, and use the Store Discovery Queue feature) I've done.
Steam just posted a game named, and I quote:
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Generation
Yes, that is a semi-colon. Japanese game, obvs.

Status: Wondering how Microsoft missed this one when pushing out the newest build to the Fast Ring.
I mean, the new features are nice and all - you can now cast from Edge to a Miracast receiver and similar stuff.
The problem, however, are the "q" and "u" keys. The "q" has been rewired to "Open the favorite links tab" and "u" now does the same as Ctrl-a.
All the other keys (including "Q" and "U") still work as they should. Workaround: Enable CapsLock and type Shift-u to get a "u".
And before you ask, it's Edge specific. And it's evident on the keyboard of my desktop, the physical keyboard of my Surface and the Touchscreen keyboard of my Surface.

Hmm, I should go back and finish the first one, play the second one, and buy that one. They're surprisingly entertaining.
...Though admittedly, I've been enjoying this Transformers game more, but then I've nearly finished it. Soon, then.
The Re;Birth series seems to be a remake of a PSP series, which I would have expected Sony to dislike, since the main character is the goddess of Sega and not Sony.
Admittedly they are not... good games, exactly, but I'm always a fan of unusual mechanics, and they have some nice ones.

Status****strong text: Remember how I said a few weeks ago I thought I smelled pot in the company parking lot? (Of course, you don't.) I've been smelling it every once in a while since then. Turns out it wasn't pot, but charcoal briquettes cooling (yes, I'm TRWTF). Apparently we have a guy that brings a grill to work on really nice days like today. For lunch he goes out to the parking lot and grills a steak on the tailgate of his truck.
-
You should pay him to grill a steak you provide.

Why does you question not end with a question mark?
Why make you a spelling error?
