A colleague was talking about an incident where someone who was a bit lacking in both vocabulary and figuring from context had misinterpreted a Bible passage by assuming spelling errors in the Bible itself, transforming the sentence "en ätt som var talrik" to "en ett som var tallrik".
So, I guess, Abraham received from God as part of their covenant: a dinner plate.

Okay, after creating a new post and deleting it my count remained at 22947.
After purging the post, though, the count went back to 22946.
My theory is @CRConrad has a deleted post somewhere.

Pls provide your input.Narrator: At this point we'd like to note that the ticket was for a DFS share that apparently did not have all members in sync; i.e. ServerA had the correct files, and ServerB had files from three months ago. Because DFS arbitrarily picks which server you end up connecting to, this means that some clients would be seeing wildly different (but technically historically correct) data, causing weird and awkward issues/errors. The resolution, naturally, is to sync the outdated servers, but apparently this is... difficult.
to group, after prodding on the ticket which was never updated accordingly : Hi , We need to check with Internally and update you. Could you please let us know what files are not the same for both servers.
to group : You… want a list….? I could provide one, but that seems a bit weird. [Image] See comparison graphic, the list is rather extensive.
: zzzZZZzzzZZZzzzI have no idea what is the misunderstanding here, or why it's so hard to conceive that outdated servers should be tombstoned and resynced, or why nobody wants to push the gorram button, but hey, I'm being paid to waste time so why complain?

@Tsaukpaetra It's the needful-don't-doers. There's going to be someone in a small group insulated from all users who has the power to press the Button and make everything work... but they don't want to (and definitely don't want anyone who might qualify as a user near them!) and nobody outside their coterie really knows who to pester in person to make it happen despite their passive-aggressive resistance.
