By the way, on the 'it's not sex' thing - is (and I fully expect to be lambasted for these) a virgin who's (only) anally raped still a virgin? Was it actually rape since it wasn't 'sex'? Since most interpretations of 'virgin' require integrety of the hymen (to the extent that there are businesses out there to 'restore the hymen' - there was a thread about one such on here recently.)

There are multiple "source texts" for certain passages in the Bible, which translate differently because the original stories might have carried over to other countries differently and because some of them were translated between them to begin with. That's why the Bible's so much crap, there is not one Bible, all translations are inherently flawed and everything's open to interpretation.

Furthermore, the book has not been written by people who lived 75 or 150 years after the death of the book's hero; they have been written in real time.*
*to be honest, the content of the book has been dictated by the prophet to a bunch of dudes over a period of 20+ years and later they repeated the content to various people to have it written, but it's still a more convincing source than some guy talking to an angel helping him to translate old golden plates (the book of Mormon)

It's the concept of the Trinity.
I can only come up with one verse that equates the Holy Spirit to God, making it a Trinity (2 Corinthians 3:17). Outside of that, the vast majority is equating Jesus to God.
