Not something I wanted to end a Friday on.

Dunno, his posts used to be funnier. Is he running out of drugs in prison?

Need a GoFundMe for smuggling drugs to John McAfee too now then.

I didn't realise you could raise that much that way.

You better believe it.
Or else you won't.

I read a sci-fi story like this once: there were so many goods produced that instead of working for money to buy goods, you were required to consume a certain amount of goods – "poor" people had higher quotas than "rich" people, and the highest-ranking person in a company had the smallest office. The linchpin that held it together was some kind of society-wide more that things must not be wasted. (We might guess that society recently had some kind of shortages that were overcome-and-then-some by robot labor, but the short story doesn't explore that.)
It was a rather absurd story. The problem was "solved" when the protagonist programmed his robots to consume things, instead of the people consuming things. Because, apparently, "producing less" was unconscionable/impossible?

@DogsB as lunatic as he was, this is not how we wanted this story to end.

Let's post this then:

Better than average odds of faking his own death, I'd pay the 50 cents to see the corpse

McAfee may have had a thing for sea-living mammals too, according to reports:

Similar arguments apply, as you would know if you'd ever tried to fuck a lemur.

So some people from Kickstarter are asking me some pretty hard questions. Harder than from GoFundMe, even.
If I still had the money, I'd give it back, but Bolivia is Bolivia. It's not like there was any bad faith involved, at least.

McAfee is now living on the great Epstein Island in the sky, home of people who didn't kill themselves.

@topspin I'm just going to copypaste what I read about this on another forum:
In short a cryptocurrency wallet with the ID EPSTEIN and tracker ID WHACKD (exactly what those are doesn't matter for this but they're labels associated with the wallet) has just woken up after not doing anything for years, and is sending small amounts of cryptocurrency to seemingly random addresses. There are people who claim that the ID to find to this wallet was layered into the Q image which was the last post on McAfee's instagram.
At around the same time, a torrent with the label NCSWIC and size 31TB seems to have woken up. NCSWIC being an initialism for "nothing can stop what is coming". It is worth noting that in 2019, McAfee told everyone that he had 31TB of dirt on the elites tied up to a dead man's switch.
The theory is that the servers hosting that torrent were programmed to wake up when they recieved crypto from the wallet in question, and that the dirt is now up on a torrent (notoriously hard to take down) with the knowledge on how to find it baked into the Etherium blockchain (impossible to take down withotu destroying the entire cryptocurrency); and that that torrent is now out there with all of the dirt on the elites.
Having said all that, to say this requires a pinch of salt is the understatement of the century. It's all borderline impossible to verify without actually looking at the files of the torrent, and my own humble search has returned no results for the name NCWIC.

I watched the Netflix documentary yesterday. The production value was somewhere around a stale bagel, but man was John completely out of his mind, and on all the drugs. Including bath salts, which we all know does not in any way make you even more crazy. High, drunk and wielding automatic weapons, on a small yacht.
His wife, the prostitute, was also completely unhinged and asked him to shoot the camera guy, so after talking about where to shoot him he pulled his gun and pointed it at the camera guy, who understandably freaked the fuck out. And the camera guy had been a war photographer for 3 decades, so he wasn't one of the feeble ones.

There was a couple of short clips where he got up from behind a bern with bullets audibly whizzing past and running to a nicer place to record, so yeah.

That goes some way to explain the orca attacks.
