Reminds me I almost ran over a guy taking a leek with my bike last sunday ... he obviously thought that he left the bicycle/walking path and was invisible while in reality he was almost standing dead center in a mtb trail ...

That's pretty harsh just for vegetable theft, even on a Sunday.

@PleegWat But why would they try?

@dcon Everyone's life flashes before their eyes before they die. It's called "life".
What if our life could less be described as "flashing," and more as "mooning, then driving away laughing?"

@hungrier Reminded me of a joke I saw earlier today:
Wife is vacuuming and says to her husband "Honey, something's wrong with the vacuum cleaner. It doesn't suck anymore."
"I don't know, maybe it got married".

the part where the husband isn't he one doing the manual labor? I mean why did nature give them the broad shoulders, and muscles on muscles if not to perform physical labor while the female bears young and plots world domination?
or are things different in your part of the spiderverse?

Feminism aside, hard manual labour thing being male responsibility makes sense but in what universe is vacuuming considered to be too exerting for frail females?
It's a typical women's housework.

What, working with that heavy machinery? I can completely understand they're not comfortable with it and want the men to do it.

Allow me to respond to your question with a question:
in what universe is vacuuming considered to be too exerting for strong, masculine men?
-
@Vixen I can't answer on behalf of all strong masculine men.
But usually the person who needs something done must do it themselves (or find someone else who'll do it, usually for some form of compensation since slavery was abolished).
My personal anecdotal example: I don't give a fuck if it's somewhat dusty. If my girlfriend does then it would seem fair that she's the one who should take care of it.
When I was little I didn't give a fuck about dusty carpets too (I'm consistent that way) but I had to vacuum because others in the family wanted apartment to be clean, didn't want to do it themselves and child slavery isn't abolished anywhere yet.

Is that the American competitor of Isuzu?
But Isuzus blow the soot low, so you cannot see anythings after they overtook you - so I'd prefer that type of car to be used by those guys.

@BernieTheBernie said in The Official Funny Stuff Thread™:

I have a Duramax, which is a joint venture between Isuzu and General Motors. It doesn't really smoke unless there's something wrong with it. (It'll put out a puff of haze if you floor it from a stop, but you can't see it unless it's nighttime and there are headlights behind you.)

Well, I remember Isuzus from my cycle tours in Thailand. They arrive with a terrible noise, so you can prepare (put a face mask on, or better flee into a different road). They are really terrible.

This probably has the same cause as cars from the same manufacturer having 5 crash test safety stars when sold in Europe and only one when sold in India.
