Downloaded seven years of my transaction history across various accounts to try to identify anything recurring I may have forgotten about (by highlighting duplicate merchant/amount combinations).
In the course of that identification, discovered how much of a creature of habit I am. (Well, I already knew that, but it's interesting to have the data.)
Example: Over the past five years, I have gone to a breakfast place near me and have gotten the exact same thing 126 times.
Don't mess with success, I suppose.
Given that most people breakfast daily, getting one thing 7% of the time doesn't seem that much. And I don't know about you, but before I've had breakfast isn't my most creative time of the day.

Helped with a move (went fast and I got to stay in the truck and play Tetris, rather than climb stairs), washed/vacuumed the car (and discovered that there's a small seal leakage on the back doors, so the water got into the car there a bit), shaved my head (I do that periodically), and started laundry.
Now to chill for a while and play FFXIV.

I replaced the fill valve in the toilet cistern and fitted a new toilet seat which have been outstanding jobs for months.

There is an obvious explanation...
Both restaurants are on the same shop/restaurant jukebox channel

The place I went had jukeboxes but the customers request songs; I don't believe there's a channel.

Sounds like you're looking for a parser generator.

Any real backfiring is so slow that everyone in the lab would think it's the new norm.
So anyone who can follow a friend of a friend of a friend can steal all your lab's results and publish them first? Cool.

Status: Breaking in a new phone. The old one had to go because the battery started to bulge, but it still takes annoyingly long to get everything over. 90% goes across smoothly, 5% is a little tricky but not too bad… and the other 5% is a ballache. Why don't the set of open browser tabs copy across? Why was one of my favourite apps completely withdrawn from the appstore? *sigh*

Supposedly, everything is going to happen in closed groups and/or private group chats, so no, not that easily. Still, it would be very ironic if my scientific advisor's "I have nothing to hide" attitude bit us in the neck some day.
-
@aitap FWIW, we usually keep the data that we haven't yet published in private repositories on Github (except for a few big binary blobs that exceed the GH size limit, which we hate but put up with). They work well enough in terms of access control, and are easy enough to make open once we can. We're mostly pretty cagey about results until the paper is accepted. What we'd do on actual social media is either discuss things after publication (hell, we'll talk people's ears off there!) or reach an outline agreement to collaborate in the future (with the sealing of the deal depending on funding and shit like that).
Virtually all our source code is open. (Some of the hardware isn't; IP licenses aren't cheap there.) We provide instructions on how to cite…

Other, more different status: I think the SSD that my work got as an upgrade for my machine may be bad. So far all my efforts to unfuck it have not worked and it's been getting strange errors the whole time.

I don't trust the current M.2 Sata SSD installed in my primary machine based on the surface scan I did a week or so ago. I'm pondering if I want to upgrade to something that has a real name...

There are two types. The "traditional" VSTO extensions that work in most versions of office, and the new, lighter, non-COM/interop API (add-ons) that are basically embedded web apps. Since one look at the interop API sent me running in a panic...

Make sure you're collecting as many coins as you possibly can, because while there's 880 moons, if you buy your way to 999, there's a bonus reward. On top of the 9999-coin outfits.

Also, need to whine some more at the town council because they be made of fail and trying to delay handing out documents. Do I need to take them to court over this? Last time they barely avoided that but if they keep delaying I may need to get a court to look over the situation. Freedom of information ftw!

I gave them until wednesday to sort this. If I have heard nothing or if the answer isn't good enough, this wednesday I will be paying them another visit. I feel bad for the staff at the municipal information desk and municipal archives, because they're ending up in the crossfire here. Because now I bothered to read the freedom of information laws and the laws are really fucking strict in benefit of me. And I also have a paper trail confirming that I have requested the information as well as a reply stating complete bullshit as to why the information isn't present.
The likelihood of the town council getting dragged to court is increasing with every passing day...
Edit: Just had my followup request mail forwarded from the municipal archives to some people, including the one I know is chief responsible for the documents I am trying to get, and who gave a bullshit answer 2.5 weeks ago.
