...college, repeatedly.
Prosecutors said Singer used the cash to bribe two people who administered the exams — Igor Dvorsiky, of Los Angeles, and Lisa "Niki" Williams, of Houston.
In exchange for receiving the payments, Dvorsiky and Williams allowed Mark Riddell, a Florida man hired by Singer, to secretly take the tests or to replace the children's answers with his own, according to the indictment.
Riddell was paid roughly $10,000 per test, money that was often funneled through a charity account set up by Singer, the indictment says.

...the ballgame!
https://www.wctv.tv/content/news/Minor-league-baseball-team-holding-Florida-Man-Night-507324451.htmlThe Double-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins has been pretty tight lipped about the promotion. But they did promise Jacksonville will break a weird Florida law in every single inning
....
The Jumbo Shrimp also confirmed Lane Pittman will be in attendance. He’s the Florida man famous for standing shirtless and shoeless in the middle of a road blasting Slayer’s “Raining Blood” as his hair and Old Glory blew in Hurricane Matthew’s Category 2-force winds.

In a just world this Florida woman and Florida man would be going to the electric chair:
-
@Polygeekery The title fits here, but this is not funny at all.
-
@topspin agreed, but Florida isn't always funny.

-
@boomzilla Ok, from what I could find on a whim the video in that article got posted on the 16th of March.
Now it seems like people with some time on their hands have started a Facebook page and even a merch website to turn fishing there into an official weekly event.
Seems like they had a little event yesterday, so here's a YouTuber reporting on a Florida Man fishing from the top of a king-size air mattress:
https://youtu.be/lZe90XIlSCQ?t=513
He said he didn't really think this thing through.
Florida Man alright...

Resnick's report says the fact that Harrouff persisted in biting Stevens "in the presence of police officers, in spite of threats of being shot, being tased and receiving multiple kicks to the head, suggests that Mr. Harrouff was actively psychotic."
Interesting that there was no mention of drugs in the article, because that sounds exactly like (what little I know about) PCP intoxication. It's so similar that I'd think it would be worth a mention that he wasn't high if he wasn't.

My money would have been on bath salts. However:
An FBI toxicology report showed only trace amounts of marijuana and no evidence of designer drugs in Harrouff’s system at the time, so Resnick ruled out the episode as a “drug induced psychosis.”
-
@boomzilla Ok then; that's the information I expected to see in the other article.

Eight-year-old boy in Kentucky!

@boomzilla Florida Man Doesn't Go to Work.
-
@boomzilla Presumably, now he won't need to worry about going to work for a while.
-
@HardwareGeek That depends… Did his previous job include making number plates?
-
@dkf Fast-food restaurant, so some of the menu items are probably numbered, but fast-food isn't usually served on plates, so probably no number plates.

But you do get numbers (at some places) to put on the table while you wait for your plate. (Thinking of Carl's)

Like, isn't that counter productive? I mean, I know he kind of person to fake a robbery to get out of work isn't going to be particularly bright, but wouldn't that keep him tied up with the police for a few hours?

I'm guessing that's still better than working at Hardee's.

I have a feeling that you've already answered that yourself.
-
@topspin well, yeah, he got caught so he ended up in jail. I think that is what you are getting at.
But even if he had gotten away with it, he still would have spent several hours talking to the police. Years ago my home was broken in to. The police came and spent 2-3 hours going over everything. Your excuse to not go to work should not tie you up for half your shift. An excuse to not go to work is something that keeps you free to do what you actually want to do.
And ideally doesn't land you in jail.
-
@Polygeekery True. But then you've got
Florida Man
and also

Did he also get it from Jesus behind the KFC, and did he press it to his face in an attempt to shave his beard or something?

Lost in text form: I don't know if they were talking about Christ or just some latino called Jesus.

@pie_flavor Apparently they don't know that you cannot escape eternal punishment. Buying tickets for free access into heaven even when you're not worthy will just end up with your nice luxurious express train to heaven being diverted straight into hell. Hope you like those luxurious sulphur baths!

To be fair to them, they weren't the ones going to heaven. They just wanted to go to space and smoke crack with their alligator.
-
@boomzilla Ah, there it is...
The women were charged with fleeing to elude, resisting arrest, aggravated assault, indecent exposure, and marijuana possession. The younger McLeod was also hit with a DUI count.

So I searched for it and Snopes says it's from 2015. What's more: it's fake news:

The bird was last seen trying to solve some layout constraints.
