It's C++ (UE4 Engine), and there's a typical maximum for most situations (It's allocating an array to hold bitmap data of a given size slice of a texture).
Apparently the problem is that it's not predictable and (i've been told) sent off to a thread (which I don't believe otherwise it shouldn't be affecting the game tick rate when multiple people are painting).Ring buffer?

@magus Turns out, in the sandbox, there are no issues. So yay for debugging opportunities...

@polygeekery Probably 98% of my near-death experiences on my motorcycle were due to Jimmy John's delivery drivers. Stops signs and lane dividers are completely invisible to them.

Status: third day of work translating this client's incoherent ramblings into proper requirements.
This guy sent us a 10 page document detailing what he wants his product to do, in English. He's Spanish, we're Spanish. First wtf. We assume he wrote it for international providers (euphemism for cheap indian freelancers). Unfortunately, he does not grammer English very good, which makes understanding his sentences hard.
But this wouldn't be such a problem if he actually tried to write! That's the really annoying part: he writes like he's in a super hurry all the time. Missing spaces, extra spaces, misspelling like one word out of every three, no coherence between sentences. Wtf man, that's both rude and stupid. You're making yourself much harder to understand and probably not even saving any time doing it.
He's an old client though so we gotta be nice.

@gąska I mean, with Japan having taken a win off of Columbia as well, that group is pretty wide open now. Poland and Japan are roughly even strength sides, so if Poland can steal a point from Columbia they'd at least have a degree of self-control going into the last match day, just needing to beat Japan by more goals than Columbia beats Senegal. And if they win against Columbia, then they're win-and-advance.

It's one game ... in a group that is relatively even (no hot shots, no previous world champions, ...) it can still go every way.

I forgot about this, but I just got an upvote notification on this and remembered. Success! The part I modeled--a spring-loaded clip which allows the hose to snap into the base--was close enough to the original to be functional, and I just saved myself from having to buy a new vacuum. This was the first actually practical thing I've used the printer for.

Hi, I have a doubt, can you kindly please check your washing machine and make sure it does not look like this?

Well it's not my code.
And I probably do have memory leaks, but no debugger or useful diagnostics monitoring (unless "I can't seem to think right now" is useful...).

This isn't going to complete within the week, is it?
20 hours in, not bad...
Ya know, backups are supposed to be reliable, what's with the errors?
Hrm... well if the chunk representing that file's hash is disappeared, I suppose it can't be restored. But why is is disappeared?

Was it vinegar they recommended? Hmmm....Vinegar might do it, bleach might do it. I actually buy a "washing machine cleaner" powder thing from Tide that I run through mine once every other month or so (since I only run one load a week) and I leave the washer door open any time it doesn't have clothes in it to let it dry out rather than keeping water inside that can build up that scum/mold/whatever that causes those scents.

Hmm, for some reason I think people have been not doing that lately, might seek to revisit that policy with the others...

Status (update): That compressor replacement? Was supposed to happen tomorrow (leaving me with out a car for a day). Instead, the master tech for the shop (without whom they don't feel comfortable doing it, because supposedly it's that delicate a job) won't be there until Friday. So two extra days without AC. Good thing I don't need to go very many places this week.
Oh, and it'll cost $1500 bucks or so. After a 10% discount. And that's without the suggested (but not essential) condenser replacement--that would have added another $500 or so.
I'm also stressed because my head of school sent an email (whether just to me or BCC, don't know):
I've sent you a letter. Watch for it over the next few days.
That was it. No prior notice, no scuttlebut (I just saw admin people yesterday), nothing. It's probably nothing negative, but my paranoia is spiking hard.

Windows has detected you've restored an outdated file, and will now reboot to update it.
Reboot right away reboot immediately

Depending on how updates/paints are done, yeah. Some recent changes in Windows have made pixel level painting extremely expensive...

That's right, a PDF printout from Notepad.

@tsaukpaetra Ok but if you're restoring a kitchen, the computer could do whatever it wants. Because you're in there sanding a cupboard or something.

Looks like it totally locked up the system when I did that.

@tsaukpaetra Oh CredSSP will fuck yuo over on Windows Server 2012 R2 and even Windows 7 now, too.

In my case, the clients are all updated because Windows Update, but the server isn't (because Windows Update) and now I have to use a time machine to connect and try to fix it
Looks like, despite it appearing that the machine locked up, it came back (eventually) and is now waiting for a reboot:
