RIP Terry A Davis
Terry was best known for being a raving schizophrenic who somehow still managed to write entirely from scratch his own 64-bit operating system, which went through a few name changes (LoseThos, SparrowOS) before he finally ended up deciding to call it TempleOS [wikipedia: TempleOS]. He was featured here and on Motherboard, among other places.
Facebook has memorialized Terry's page, confirming his death:
