The list of audio capture devices was blank. Like, nothing there. As if it had no audio capture devices.
Like so?
's expected:
Nothing you can do in that case.

Well, depending on the settings of your RDP client, that's expected. Windows flat out doesn't load the sound driver under certain settings for the RDP client. That was basically the epiphany I had. And, yes, should have had a while ago.
But, keep in mind that this also happened after trying to set it up the first time, nothing working, contacting the seller and him telling me "Yeah, audio is not supported on Windows yet. Let me talk to the developer of the drivers".
-
@Tsaukpaetra not there. In the DVR software.
There is more to the story but I am on mobile.

Oh, and after that, I got the answer of WOSEM, back and forth with him, then a lot of other shit happening, me having to go to the OEM and him telling me that it was not supported on Server 2012R2, only on Windows 7.
Analog capture cards for security cameras are a hellscape.

Ah. Yeah, pretty much ALL DVR software sucks fairy balls...

I think the DMs took on an almost impossible mission of their own...
I agree. DMing a forum game is very different to doing it live, and group B, for whatever reason, didn't gel too well with the DM style. It's also got to be tricky running two games simultaneously
I'd be interested in playing if they ever do a new campaign.

I had a look but you couldn't recommend Windows XP to your friends.

@Luhmann friends don't let friends use XP

@Jaloopa
Pfff I have some 'friends' I would recommend NT 4 too
-
@Luhmann I'm fairly sure that's against the Geneva Convention.

Travel guitars are naturally more susceptible to be damaged, because naturally they travel.

Compared to stay-at-home guitars? I suspect there is an enormous wage gap at play here ...

Did I read the comments correctly: is it just a 375GB SSD? I got way more for way less last year, and it's still going nicely…

but can your SSD be used as system memory?
that one can.
-
3D XPoint is a new kind of persistent solid state memory devised by Intel and Micron.
As to why:
it's a datacenter-oriented part, built for applications with high read/write loads, looking for low latency. The sequential transfer rates of 2400MB/s read, 2000MB/s write, are good, but some of the fastest NAND flash can pull slightly ahead. Where the P4800X excels is its ability to sustain high I/O loads, courtesy of those low latencies.

Google should use their Chrome data collection for good once. Make it detect any time a page suddenly jumps up or down. Then immediately send that to Google's servers and make it drop 1 position in all the search results pages. Instantly, no exceptions.

Why did they swing at the high pitches?
Because they had a guitar. For the low pitches, they'd need a bass.

Better than the pouring rain we had this morning. It was bad enough that I got a bus from the station to work.
And the inline emoji-picker is just as annoying as the one…

Blue keys would look weird, but I'm not sure brown would be any better. I tend to stick with black, but I still have some older keyboards where they're beige

The bit you're calling the key is the bit that mechanical keyboard nerds call the keycap. He means the bit underneath. The colour means... something I don't care about.
