Status: Goddammit Microsoft! Just because I installed Anniversary Update is no reason for you to delete my RSATs.
(Yes, I realize they didn't delete them so much as not migrate them because they're not compatible and need to be reinstalled. Doesn't make me less salty that they're gone.)
Yeah, try being on insider builds when they get uninstalled every patch Tuesday.

@sloosecannon Maybe someone should create, like, a system where updated versions can be automatically downloaded and installed… alas, I fear it may just be a fever dream on my part…

That would be awesome!
Maybe they could call it Windows.... Version Synchronization and Patch Deployment.
Nah, that's too long.
OOoooh! Windows Update!

Have Microsoft forgotten this exists suddenly and stopped issuing updates?
Windows 10 has not gone that long without rebooting since I upgraded to it.

@RaceProUK
Well, the stupid is that MS only distributes the Remote Server Administration Tools (RSATs) as a standalone Windows Update. So unlike normal software, it doesn't get migrated by "major" Windows 10 updates, since those are treated as Windows in-place upgrades.And yet, Microsoft does not go through your WU list for such optional updates to reinstall them in the new version. Even though it's the same KB number for any version of Windows (even pre-10), and you can re-run the same installer that you downloaded pre-AU to install the RSATs on your post-AU computer. Apparently because

It was actually not a big deal once we stopped talking past eachother. I'd just like people who give me tasks to actually know what the task is...
I still need a beer, so, if you'll excuse me...

Not until she's consistently putting those paintballs over his heart or in the center of his forehead! You've got to ramp up the difficulty with these things, you know.

Arizona (except for the damned Navajo reservation) thumbs its nose at everyone who observes DST.
Well, it would if it had a nose.
Or thumbs.

Addendum: Another machine using the same Network Security Group is working fine for this. So (logically) it's not that.
Internally inside the network, I can get there, just not on Internet-sourced traffic.
NFC how to continue from here, nothing makes sense anymore, and there's still four hours left in my workday...

One of the places we have dog shows has a strict no alcohol policy since it's run by the youth soccer league.During the initial briefing in the morning we make sure to note that we do not check coffee cups (or red solo cups). Oh, and take your empties with you - do not put them in recycling.

You know what's NOT logical? Allowing settings that makes no sense.
Apparently there's an unstated rule that your Network Security Group must be in the same Resource Group that the machines are attached to. (or, that's my interpretation, remember it's unstated).
Re-creating the network security group in the appropriate resource group instantly fixed my inbound traffic woes. But no help guide on the Internet told me that! Nope!
Whole day wasted getting to where I should have been at when I came in. First. Whirled. Problems!

Okay, so that's the initial challenge they give you.
I do the right thing (possibly):
And...
So... you're not going to inject that function into the boilerplate? How am I supposed to write the actual program then? Does it take input from stdin? Should it write to stdout? Does the
Main
get autofilled but must be declared? Huh?Instructions:
x Simple, given a string of words, return the length of the shortest word(s). String will never be empty and you do not need to account for different data types.
Code:
function findShort(s){ return s.split(" ").map(a=>a.length).sort()[0]; }
Results:
Passed: 3 Failed: 42
Test:
function findShort(s){ return s.split(" ").map(a=>a.length).sort(); } console.log(findShort("ProofOfStake Dogecoin Classic MadeSafeCoin Classic ProofOfStake"));
Result:
[12, 12, 12, 7, 7, 8]
The default sort order is according to string Unicode code points.
Fuck JavaScript.

I had to reboot yesterday because Windows was using like 75% of my physical memory for things that were unaccounted for in Task Manager and it was swapping constantly.

Did you try stopping your VMs? Task Manager can't account for those for some reason explained elsewhere...
