doesn't run under console
... what?
You are aware ffmpeg works on literally every OS I've ever run, including headless Linux, right?
Yes, I can run ffmpeg myself, but the program that's calling it doesn't respect that and the effort would be wasted.
Edit: Not that it seems it would make a difference, ffmpeg is just mysteriously choking on this video for some reason, even directly on the host.

STATUS:
Intrigued. Some weird interaction between cURL and a project I use causes an invalid cURL error code (0x18) to be generated. Which means either the project's code is somehow corrupting the world around the cURL lib, or... There's a bug in cURL that's somehow corrupting the program's state during normal operation.
-
@sloosecannon Are you sure it's an invalid code, not just an undocumented one?

Status: Progress!
I received a tip that maybe IBM Notes was not compatible with java 8. So I installed jenv, java6 and java7.
Now IBM Notes hangs on startup so that I don't even get the initial dialogue.
-
@Mikael_Svahnberg Less Notes functionality does seem like a step in the right direction!

In which case it's probably an outdated default for a tool.

Writing in The Sun, Ally Ross said: "Matt LeBlanc may still come across like Dylan from The Magic Roundabout, but he is now capable of looking all of his co-hosts in the eye for more than 2.3 seconds.
"This small miracle is possible, of course, because BBC2 has got rid of the shouty ginger tyrant, Chris Evans, and that hideous yellow T-shirt he wore every single episode of his short yet noisy tenure."

@Maciejasjmj When I'm given the choice, I will always pick MEF just because it's built in and dead simple.

?
MEF is a plugin framework, not a DI framework.
-
@Maciejasjmj It does DI just fine. It can also do plugins just fine.

A real complaint or you're talking about the joke I made ?
If it's about what I said, I'm sorry you took that as a complaint.

What order does the loading, processing, and display of the iframe contents occur in relation to the processing of the containing page's source? If the iframe is loaded after or separately from the processing of the container, then I would expect that the height would not be available (because different display engines could produce different heights). Or something like that...
-
@TimeBandit I wasn't sure if you were joking. I was about 50% joking when I said there had been complaints.

There there
-
@djls45 The contents are static, so ideally, I'd hook into
onload
and set the height of the iframe then, since the contents will be loaded and rendered at that point.

@Jaloopa said in The Official Status Thread:
simple authentication
If there's one thing I've learnt, it's that authentication is never simple.
-
@RaceProUK That should have been Basic authentication. the one where you pass credentials for a local Windows account.
Although I think it's failing before that because opening the page in a web browser gets a 500 error before any username and password prompt comes up
-
@Jaloopa Is that the one where you form a
username:password
string where both parts are Base64 encoded?
-
@RaceProUK yeah.
I'm also getting different exceptions from my machine to what I see on the web server. It all worked in dev, but now I've moved it to UAT everything is broken

@RaceProUK the case was thrown out because they lost the evidence.
Where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?
-
Peter Piper provencially picked for pilfering pecks of pickled peppers?
-
@Jaloopa Peter Piper was later found to be eating the evidence, and was charged with perverting the cause of justice.
