Unusual web entertainment

I just came accross this very unusual form for web entertainment which involves your browser.
Requires JS + Flash, and good for a quick laugh, just dont maximise the window when it opens...
-
It doesn't work on IE7 if there are any other tabs open. (Not that it should, I don't see how it's any business of any web page to resize my browser)
-
I usually turn that option off (Move and resize existing windows) in Firefox but for some reason it was left on - I blame a workmate who was trying to tell me that
self.resizeTo(screen.availWidth,screen.availHeight);
is a good thing...

Normally I'd agree, but I'm letting this one off because it's a really innovative use of Flash and also made me laugh out loud.

Did you have to resurrect a 3-month-old thread just to post that?

Actually I think screen.availWidth and screen.availHeight should just return the current window size anyways. I also think that web pages should not be able to move and resize existing windows.

...Did you even read the post above yours? Or the date on the post you are replying to?

Still works on Edge and IE.
Well, on Edge it only resizes the window, on IE resizes it and moves it.

@ben_lubar A link working 9 years later is definitely a rare thing worthy of its own thread.
-
Since I clicked this on a maximized window, the effect wasn't the same.
I spent the entire thing wondering WTF was supposed to be going on.
-
@ben_lubar you're welcome. I would use the reply button, but there is a new thing overwriting it on mobile.

Yeah, who would resurrect something that old?!

Yeah, at least only resurrect a 25 day old thread.

Ooh, we have this again.
-
And it's working great.
-
It's growing! Make it stop!
Is it being re-added when posts are streamed in?
Edit: it definitely is being re-added when I create a new post. I have sets of four now.

Oh god why is :contains a selector if :has is the actual one to use that replicates the .contains DOM function?
-
@Zecc It also happens just scrolling around (likely when infiniloading posts):

And the default color is another of those wonderful web-UI choices...
