Dude, no, even better: replace Caps Lock.
But where do you put Esc then? As a user of the best text editor ever, vim, I need a conveniently placed Esc, preferably supported by a Greentech MX Brown.

Worse than indenting and braces even.
But at least it isn't as bad as editor choices…
Emacs vs Vim, or Emacs and Vim vs. Visual Studio?
EMACS CAN'T MELT STEEL BEAM
oh wait, there's actually a plugin for that

@pydsigner It comes free when you run it on a Note 7

Discussing keyboard preferences shatters the illusion that we're all mostly alike and that we can get along. Worse than indenting and braces even.
and that's just keyboard layout differences, wait till we get into the membrane vs. buckling spring, vs cherry mx, vs lazar switches.
And ERGO!

Just wait until ever post-it gets an embedded RFID chip...

Oh, wait, it didn't, it made them more easy to identify and left his hands nearly unusable from the pain. My bad.

At the same time, writing your password on a post-it note and sticking that to the frame of your monitor is probably as secure as most people need for a desktop computer. I have yet to see a method of hacking post-it notes remotely.
A telescope. Assuming there's a window nearby.

In the US, a court can force you to unlock a device locked with one (and only one) of the following items. Do you know which one it is?
- Password
- Fingerprint

From previous discussions I've read on /. between armchair lawyers, I'm going to go for fingerprint.
Since, IIRC one argument correctly, they should already have those on file.

That would be correct.
Under current US Law:
- The Fifth Amendment to the Constitution (which protects against self-incrimination) allows you to refuse to give out your password
- There have been multiple US Courts (in Virginia and California to name two that I've heard of) that have determined that the court can order you to unlock a biometric lock on your devices.

Using voice recognition as biomatric authentication is never secure.
