I let a house to students and, over the past decade, they certainly never knew how to bleed radiators. It also appears that many don't know how to replace bulbs. I've preempted that problem now by installing LEDs everywhere - so the new generation may remain in blissful ignorance.
It makes me feel very old
Is there at least a gender difference - are the ones who ask you to change the bulbs just, or mostly, girls?

Steam?
All the one I've seen have hot water. That is better than steam, because it does not need that much pressure and while the temperature difference is a bit lower, the higher density means also higher heat capacity.
I think so... Could be wrong... It was 40 years ago!
They had both steam and hot water models in different areas. It was also customary to put a pan of hot water on top of the radiator to act as a humidifier.
How did you get your current and previous jobs? I've followed two main methods, Dice and a listing that the county puts out of the largest employers. But I've recently started wondering if I'm missing a lot of possibilities by relying on Dice. Monster has a lot of jobs, but their functionality doesn't seem quite as good as Dice, so I end up avoiding it.

It looks like they might have toned that down in response to legal heat. There's still one or two listed, but there used to be a whole lot.
So I'm fixing a legacy application. One problem I'm having is that the status label on the web page does not get updated from "Processing..." to "Complete" for some of the input files even though the Java code has finished. I've noticed that in the bad cases, the doFilter() method keeps getting called in the bad case multiple times even after the real work has finished. I want to find out what keeps calling doFilter(). Unfortunately, when I print a stack trace to the log, it only goes so far back and everything is a library call, so tracing it backwards meticulously seems to be blocked.
Any suggestions how I can find where doFilter() is getting called? (Doing a reference check gets 0 hits.) Or, lacking that, suggestions for other approaches to find the root of the problem?

Stare into the eyes of the Kaliyuga Demon until you understand how it smiles.
This is Kali. "Yuga" is "era" or "eon", so the Kali Yuga is the eon of Kali. (Which, I believe, we are currently in, according to Hinduism.)
So you have not familiarity with the similarly named concept in Tibetan Buddhism? I know this freaking idol I've got right here is of something with pretty much that name. Mine's not painted, but I do not think it is intended to blue, it has a beard, and it is smiling harder.
Yes, I'm quite familiar with Tibetan Buddhism, specifically the Kagyu lineage. There is no deity "Kali" in Tibetan Buddhism, TMK, however. You might be thinking of Mahakala, though.
If I could see a picture of the meditation object you're referring to, I might be able to tell you more specifically. "Idols" are not found in Tibetan Buddhism, at least not by that word.

its more generalizeda different definition just means intentionally baiting people into making impassioned responses (usually of anger) so that they look comical and/or foolish. Griefing is a subset of trolling which usually involves interfering with someone else's gameplay in a deliberately unfair (exploiting game mechanisms in a way that isn't expected or appropriate) or taunting way to make them mad.

@anotherusername said in In other news today...:
@chozang it does.
Except that it does not. The definition I gave does not require that the goal is to bait people into making impassioned responses. The definition I gave allows for that, but does not require it. Responses, yes, impassioned responses, not necessarily.

Oh, right. Except for all that premium quality cat food that the cats have such nice shiny hair from², because our little feline friends are obligate carnivores and literally can't digest anything but meat.
Your statement's not quite true. But the important question is, did you actually see cat food (with meat) on the shelves? If not, what's the "except"?

The only thing that cats actually need from meat is taurine. And there are vegetarian taurine supplements for cats.
The only thing cats need from raw meat is taurine, which is why it has to be added separately to most cat food. They still need more nutrients from meat, just the others survive cooking.
Not sure what you're saying here. The only thing they need from meat, period, raw or cooked or processed, is taurine. And even that doesn't need to come from meat. I challenge you to name a nutrient they need which comes only from meat. You will not be able to do so.
