Jeff gets it off his chest

in colours that do not occur naturally (I hope).

He's in Australia? I'm in Hong Kong at the moment. What a (non-)coincidence!
How did you infer that from his tweet (Him being in/on his way to Oz, that is. I presume you know where you are. ... or who you are. Possibly not both.)?
-
He probably looked on Twitter. There was a later tweet about Jeff being in Sydney.
Probably needs to drop off some more DIscoKoolAid for Sam.
-
then, I guess.

I can't look past the idea that Atwood's motivation for saying that people shouldn't learn to code is because he has a harder time convincing people that understand how software works that they are the problem.
Does Jeff understand how software works? Has anyone been able to convince him that he's part of the problem?
-
Surely you jest? Jeff is obviously the exception that proves the rule!

No, he knows where he is, but he doesn't know how fast he's moving.

Thinking I'm Mr. Atwood, are we? Maybe all forum softwares are really run by the same people at the top, and we rotate bugs every version so the pain never ends...

I'm with @Maciejasjmj on this one. ?
This is not my beautiful wife!
MY GOD-- WHAT HAVE I DONE?

And where did this
Shogunshotgun shack come from, anyway? I don't live anywhere near Louisiana.Filed Under: Gamera is really neat, Gamera is full of meat, all the kids love Gamera!

Perish the thought!
...that would, however, mean you can re-use the failing unit tests across all forum softwares...

Out of fear of being accused of racism or privilegising a particular skin colour they decided to make all people in colours that do not occur naturally (I hope).
... except the wife, I point out once again.

The Simpsons is not a live action television show, you know.

Then you look at the husband, and realize that wife's got some Grimace Fever going on.

Yes I do know this.
Foxes don't really wear bras in the wild, you know.

Aaah, I remember that episode. I wanted some naughty cakes.

I've never seen an alive person so green-yellowish, but I'll agree she looks more natural than those other
peoplewhatever they are.

If I saw her on the street, given her features and skin tone, I'd assume she was Mayan. I think Mayans nearly-universally have black hair, though.
It does look more yellow and less brown on my work desktop than it does on my home desktop, but I have no idea which monitor is calibrated "better" so. Whatever.

My monitor doesn't see color.
Filed under: This is actually a huge problem, and I have a ticket open with IT to fix it.

If she might be Mayan, then her son might be Cherokee.
-
Maybe she's the son* of a Mayan and Cherokee.
The point is, it's a pretty reasonable skin tone for an actual human being.
* Daughter, but the brain fart is funnier.

It's actually not. That's a Simpsons-esque bright yellow.
Not even people with jaundice have that bright yellow of skin.

Is that Paul McCartney?

BLOCKS FOR EVERYONE!

"Brick" and "Prick" are similar words.

Well, I know of one that shat a brick every time we found a new bug in his software...

Shitting a prick seems like a different pastime altogether.

Shitting a prick
Well I won't be googling that at work again.Reminds me of a time I was looking for a pretty princess tiara picture at work. About five minutes I realized I was looking at pictures of pre-pubescent girls. Fucking hell what if my manager or tech lead came along. Society really has failed if I didn't get fired for that one.
-
-
I realized I was looking at pictures of pre-pubescent girls
My coworkers do that all the time. Sometimes they even bring prepubescent girls into the office place. Sometimes as young as a few months old! It's super disturbing. Then they congratulate each other for some reason.
-
I prefer it when people bring puppies into the office. They're the best days!
-
People aren't allowed here. :(
Despite that, apparently the CEO tried it recently and his dog took a dump under someone's desk, so I can't see that changing any time soon.

CEO tried it recently and his dog took a dump
So, he brought a person in and one of your coworkers took a dump under someone's desk? I don't see the connection...

It really shows of the typical dog smirk: I took a dump and you didn't find it ... yet.

Your CEO tried bringing a person in and his dog took a dump under a desk? Are you sure you typed that right?

So your whole company is comprised of animals?
Would probably be more productive if it was.
-
Am I the only one who notices that developers tend to make a lot of noise. Not exactly farm animal noises but mewing, wookie noises, the occasional bark and a lot of groaning. Or is this just the offices that I've worked in.
-
Don't forget all of the assorted devices and alarms that a developer's gadgets emit!
Every time I get a notification on NodeBB, I get all of these at the same time:
- Push notification
- Desktop notification (gotta test 'em all!)
- Email notification
- Phone notification of an email arriving
- Push notification of phone notification of email arriving
It ends up looking more like this than I'd care to admit (except without the fax machine)

I always picture @accalia as yipping around

How much of that happens when you get a notification here?
Just asking for a friend...
