@jbert There is literally no way to know if it is the same cat. Also 14 years outside of a house, means the cat would be dead by now.
I call bullshit.
Cats can live up to 20 years.
So it is possible but he probably had some human care within that time.

Growing up on a farm, we had several barn cats hit 20+ years old. Oldest was 23 when she passed.

I call bullshit.
A childhood friend of mine had her family pet cat run away on a vacation in the south of Scania, and was in pieces over the cat being gone when she returned home in the north of Småland. 7-8 years later, said cat came home to their house in Småland. The damned thing looked every last bit like it had done the trek on foot over the past years.
And it was the same cat, since it had some rather peculiar markings, and also had a very special cat door that she'd been trained to operate and she knew how to work it when she got back.

Sort of like a bank, but with a different legal structure.

Of those 8.3% who said they could name a famous woman tech leader, only 4% actually could—and a quarter of those respondents named “Siri” or “Alexa.” Now, granted, this represents only about 10 people in the survey group
oh.
-
a representative sample of 1,000 American consumers
8.3% said they could
1000 x 8.3% = 83
Of those 8.3% who said they could name a famous woman tech leader, only 4% actually could
83 x 4% = 3.32
and a quarter of those respondents named “Siri” or “Alexa.”
3.32 x 25% = 0.83
Must be some edgy teenager
-
@boomzilla this is actual breaking news here:
Meanwhile, more than half of the respondents (57%) were able to correctly identify a male leader in tech, with Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, and Mark Zuckerberg being the most commonly cited names.
It means 43% of Americans don't even know those big names!

@gąska Good tunes though.
