But does the wood contain gluten?
Serious answer: Only wheat, barley, rye and (some) oats contain gluten. Unless the wood was contaminated with one of those grains, or something made from them, no, it doesn't contain gluten.
The recall was based on consumer complaints. I'm not sure I trust consumers to tell the difference between a small piece of wood and, say, part of the tough stalk from a head of wheat.
I guess the question is, which of those contaminants is more likely. Wood isn't an implausible contaminant, but the stem from a grain seems pretty likely too.

I've only heard of that happening in movies. Does that actually happen?

Iāve had game night (mostly board games, some quiplash) with a bunch of folks from the local university just yesterday, so Iād say that counts as nerdy enough.
I donāt personally play D&D, but Iām sure those people exist, too.

@topspin He's talking about in terms of single women. I assume, anyway, since that's what the original question was about.

There were at least 30% women, yes. If "that happening" referred to any romance ensuing I have no idea if it ever does, but "getting to know some people" (which I struggle with myself) surely happens sometimes.

Well, considering that the border patrol has been found guilty of smashing up such caches of food and water and that these acts of mercy are usually frowned upon by rightwingers (just look at the mediterranean where ship owners are now punished for saving people in distress - something that is mandated by international law, by the way), it's not really so far-fetched a conclusion.
-
@Rhywden only if you're mendacious. The text makes it very clear that the purpose of their trespass was irrelevant to the conviction, something that the headline obfuscates. They entered a wildlife refuge (an illegal act) and littered (another illegal act). That they did so to aid others in trespass and illegal entry (both improper acts) was not considered, although it should have been. They were not simply giving aid to someone at risk through accidental circumstances, they were actively taking steps to encourage others to put themselves at risk. That's called "aiding and abetting" or "creating an attractive nuisance."

That's nice.
Next up: Any kind of self-defense is attempted murder because obviously the intent doesn't matter anymore.
What I still don't understand: Your nation has those self-proclaimed born-again Christians in command who regularly give cry and hue about those dastardly barbarous Islamic traditions.
And then promptly fail to even understand the core tenets of Christianity: Humility, Compassion and Forgiveness. I hold those guys to their own standards they so proudly set forth and I find them severely lacking. And don't give me: "But the Old Testament!" or "But the prophet/apostle XYZ!" Are they called Christians? Or are they called Leviticians?

āMost parts of the installation were chosen to be as durable as possible,ā he noted to the BBC
I doubt it'll last long. It'll just take one sandstorm and the whole thing will be fucked. It depends if things have been properly secured, rather than just plonked down haphazardly, as it appears in the photo.
He's gone that far to make the installation, he could have put slightly more effort in, to make sure it lasts as long as possible. A proper troll would have put the effort in.
