See: with that attitude I learned a new meaning of attitude. How mean.
Now thinking about the tongitudonal and tatitudonal aspects of etevation.
-
@BernieTheBernie definitety otthogonal aspects, yes. Confusing tongs with tats can be fatal.

Not with that attitude.
Filed under: I think most people will just yaw n at this pun, but I decided to still roll with it.
It's a decent pitch.

Definitely not, there are no elevators on airships

@Luhmann nothing can rise without lift

@boomzilla Don't be a drag.

These puns need a new angle of attack, or else they're just gonna stall.

Might be time to dive into the bottom of the barrel. Not sure there are any real barnstormers left tho.

It'll be touch and go for a while.

But eventually we'll have a good takeoff?

Looks like y'all picked a bad week to start with the puns

Edit: as funny as it was to see my post turned into a link, I closed the <a> tag inside your quote.

That is a dangerous thing, when used with a Boing 737 max and its excellent software.

After waking up when I came back from lunch only the external monitors are working. The laptop's own screen is black. Display settings think something is happening there, though.
-
@boomzilla My "user shell experience" or whatever you call it crashed and left me with a dark screen today.

When that happens to me (hasn't for a while), I usually have a cmd window open.
shutdown /t 0 /r
edit: That is when it doesn't auto-relaunch on its own...

That always sounded to me like a crappy theme park, complete with disappointing site-branded burgers and overpriced candyfloss.
-
@dkf Well, this is Windows 10, so...

My two external displays were fine but after waking the laptop's display didn't want to work again. Hopefully a restart fixes this.
-
I left my machine on last night so it could run a backup. Had a message saying some updates had been installed and I needed to restart. sigh OK.
restarts
After waiting for it to do its shit, it restarts and I go into Software Center. Two updates sitting there, saying they need a restart.
We just did that you fuckers.
-
@boomzilla aaaand, of course, now Software Center says those updates failed.

I've never (deliberately) run Edge.
I opened Task Manager and there were 5 instances of Edge running.
So, I completely deleted it. How long till my computer blows up?
-
: Looks likes Edge is missing. I'd better reinstall it automatically.

I see you too have momentarily positioned your cursor over the weather widget and summoned death.
-
Wow...been a while since I've had a BSOD!
-
@Tsaukpaetra you must have not completed the circle over the widget.

Almost a month with Edge removed and still no problems.
And just in time.

For some reason Start menu today has decided to self-censor.
This is an unaltered screenshot.

Your search results are right where you left them.
Except there's a blank panel over them.

I thought about linking to one of his posts. But there's so many of those that my kicked in.

Teams just decided (on its own) that it should launch on startup. I guess there must have been some user hostility during a recent update? I mean...I always have it running but it's counterproductive to start it up before I've got the VPN connected, which takes a minute or two.
