That's the fun or Rorschach test blots!
Sounds like the title to a Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon.

no. in every one that @Polygeekery has quoted, that's why the correction is in reply to him and not me. :-P

So the Nigerians have moved to Togo?

You get beer if you sign up?

There is no other beer...worth drinking.
Not really, but they are my general preference.

To each his own.

IPAs are for microbrew fanboys. True connoisseurs prefer porters and dry stouts.

I will just quote @boomzilla for my reply.
To each his own.
I also love Pilsners, Pales, and anything good and hoppy.
But yeah, there are a lot of fanboys who just chase the latest IPA's that are trendy.

beer is for weaklings. strong men (and vixen) drink vodka! is strong! make you strong! like bull! unstopable!

anything good and hoppy.
Generally I prefer these too, but some pairings work better with lower IBU things (yes I know they aren't the same thing, but generally closely correlated).

By "Yes", you mean "I agree with @tar", yes?
-
No.

If we're talking about the hard stuff, I generally prefer scotch.

I missed an opportunity there, should've phrased my question in the negative. English needs a 'si' or 'doch'.
-
I'm not much of a hops person, I prefer anaemic pissy lagers, or failing that, a nice rich porter. Not that I ever drink beer any more...

nago'i = the opposite of the thing you said

I like porters, but they're rather heavy-handed. A single bottle once in a while is about as much as I can take of them.
There's a fairly decent and widely available APA (nothing crazy though) for $1 here, so that became my beer of choice lately.
vodka
Well, it's better than whiskey. Or almost any other liquor. But whiskey in particular.
Nothing beats a gin and tonic though.

That's blasphemous.

I dig a good Gin and Tonic on a hot day.

What sort of scotch are we talking here? I like the ones from the NW Highlands and the Islands (including Islay, of course) but find the Speysides a bit too sweet for my taste.

Those all sound good. I'm pretty much happy with anything above the level of Dewar's.

blah = the thing you said
blahblah = the opposite of the thing you saidYeah, but it's in Go, so nobody's ever going to use it.

Last week I learned (week before?), from watching Predestination, that "Old Underwear" as Dewar's. I'd never gotten that before out of the original story.
Speaking of which, @Polygeekery, did you ever watch it?
-
Yeah, but it's in
FTFYGoLojban, so nobody's ever going to use it.

Since you quoted me twice, you know why I said what I did the way I did.

But I did a quote reply, not a full quote, and I didn't look at the raw, so I didn't see the HTML comment. I looked at the raw only now, because I had no clue what you were talking about, so your comment was not accurate. I didn't know that you knew, and you were incorrect in knowing that I knew that you knew, because it was only through your comment, about which I didn't know, that I now know that you knew.

Not really. Just IPAs.
EDIT: Paging @chubertdev
Drank Cali Creamin last night. Then Sin Tax. Then hurt in the head.
Had Lightning Black Lightning Porter tonight. Now easing off with Session Black.

I'd be far from lying if I neglected to deny that I couldn't help but fail to disagree less.

Please don't forget to reconsider avoiding long chains of negative sentence constructions, as it never fails to prevent a lack of misunderstandings.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. Yeah, I watched it. It was OK. Honestly, it was a bit predictable, but it did make me think. I had figured out the plot twists within 45 minutes of starting it, the rest was just waiting for everything to play out.
It started out with a bit of a Gattaca feel, but that ended up falling off to more of Looper sort of feel. Not a bad movie, worth watching.

I see a career in politics in your future.
-
Did you ever read the short story? It might have been more of a surprise in that context.
I didn't think it was necessarily one for the ages: I thought it was better than most typical Hollywood drivel, and especially so since Hollywood has until now failed miserably at adapting his work.

Negative.

That is a pretty low bar to hurdle. ;) I have literally walked out on movies that everyone else raved about. Most movies are rubbish.

Heh, yeah. I thought it was a genuinely good movie, and in the context I mentioned above, that made it stand out more.
