I present "The Pause Pod":
-
@pjh
In Japan, they have a saying... "If the Pause Pod's a rockin', don't come a knockin'!"
-
shuts out light and sound
I really, really doubt a thin piece of fabric can block any significant amount of sound.
I actually think nap pods are a good idea, but this doesn't seem like a particularly good implementation.
-
@pjh The guy at 0:51 has a bed right there !!! Just take a nap in that, dude! It's way more comfortable.

But then you can't shut out light and sound!

This is Windows 95, running in an Electron app. Yes, it's the full thing. I'm sorry.

Not sorry enough!

It'll never compare to Windows 93
-
Yes, it's the full thing
It's also massive copyright infringement then.
And since Windows 95 licenses are no longer sold, that means their price (and therefore the damage caused to Microsoft for each person you distribute it to) is +INFINITY.

@loopback0 Start > Programs > Crazy, make sure sound is on

It's news like these that really enable me to understand the mentality of the Warhammer 40k universe. Whenever somebody comes up with something like this, it's better to just try to contain the damage: write the planet off as a total loss, and hope for better success elsewhere.

I've seen that before, in one of Malcolm Merlyn's videos. I think it's better with the tech support scammers:

Man, the quality of scammers have certainly gone up/down since then...

'Cuase I couldn't find a dedicated trigger warning thread, let's bring back a random topic!

Boiling pizza!
I think it's a meme?
-
@Tsaukpaetra Finally "cooking pizza" is accurate terminology.

I should of updated that status. I ended up with a list of triplets. I probably have a target on my back now.

@Bulb First looking at the picture I thought - I see a minor problem... How do I get in/out.
Entering or exiting the pool will be something straight out of a sci-fi movie.
a rotating spiral staircase based on the door of a submarine will rise from the pool floor when a swimmer wants to get in or get out.
This is going to be either really cool, or go reallyreally wrong...

Amazon is selling a bracelet that delivers a 350-volt electric shock every time you commit your bad habit. That doesn’t have to be fast food – it could be smoking or sleeping past your alarm. And all it costs you is £193. [$193, €193... ]
Apparently, your mates can also download an app that appoints them as digital guardians, able to give you a buzz if they spot you breaking the rules.

My bad habit is overpriced gimmicky gadgets. Would this shock me the entire time I wore it?

My-first-skinner-box is now a reality. I don't think people should be using positive punishment on themselves...especially the kind of people that would buy this.
-
@PJH I see no way in which this could go wrong.
